You need to go to amazon or ebay RIGHT NOW and buy the book "Investing for Dummies". Dont be insulted. I read it AFTER I passed my series 7 test. You can skim it effectively in 90 min, and read it for deep comprehension in 1-2 days.
With the knowledge you will gain there, you will never ask investing questions again... NEVER, and youll know more than 98% of the posters on this or any other board.

It's funny how many people will get offended if you recommend a "For Dummies" book, as if you called them a dummy indirectly. (not referring to OP)
Some of those books are the best educational books I've ever read.
Funny story: My chess friend when I was younger recommended "The Idiot's Guide to Chess", because of it's presentation was different over the chess Dummies book. We used to laugh and say "I need The Idiot's Guide because I'm an Idiot, not a Dummy!"
The whole lot's dipped, DWAC went down on news that it will use AI on its system, but think logically it must need some AI algo's to kick out the CP and the like. Think how many Trump haters will try and flood it when it hits.
Maybe buy some dips and average out, not financial advice etc etc.
