I am, most definitely. It's an objective reality of which I have first-hand direct experience, rather than mere "belief." Some people are immune to hypnosis, no matter what others may believe. :) Sorry to be the outlier, but facts are facts.
I've tried it a number of times, had a couple annoying habits I really wanted to break. Just could not get anywhere NEAR being "under". They all gave up.
It's OK, I prefer being in complete control of my mind at all times, thanks
Yep, I'm the same way.
I think i know what you mean.
Your brain prefers YOU to be driving the car, not sitting in the passenger seat,
while some 14 year old with a learners permit, is driving and making you nervous.
Metaphorically speaking.
There is something about “being in control” of your faculties at all times,
But there is also something about “letting go” and “losing control”.
Like, if you are hyper-aware of the problems in the world, it will eventually stress you tf out,
But if you are able to escape for a while, it can help with your stress level, and overall health.
I think this is one reason people drink alcohol, smoke weed, play video games,
After a while, “alternate reality” becomes the place where people prefer to be.
Depends on how you define hypnosis.
And you do not have to be "under."
Not trying to be rude here but let me pose this question: what makes you think you are in complete control of your mind...ever?
You don't have to answer -- this is not a debate.
Something to ponder.
Something for everyone to ponder.
