Welp...it's done. After 20 years at my fortune 500 financial services firm, yesterday was my last day. I submitted my resignation several months back as I refused to give into their vax mandates. There were many unethical situations that I've seen over the years but the "icing on the cake" was them pushing the vax (really hard) and threatening employee's livelihoods if they didn't get the shots. That was the last straw for me. I decided to take control of my future and not bow down to tyrannical edicts. After a 60 day notice period (legal obligation for employees at my title level) it's finally over.
Those 60 days were rough. There were many people trying to pull me back into the matrix ("misery loves company" syndrome, if you will) and leaving some really good colleagues and friends behind was especially hard, harder than I originally thought it would be. But I stood my ground and made it through to my last day. I think I woke up a few colleagues along the way and on my way out I did receive several emails from co-workers admiring my stance. So "mission accomplished" from a red pill perspective.
My job was a lucrative position and I'm leaving at a time when I have a son in college (I've posted on this board about his heroics with pushing back on vax mandates at his school and on his football team) and a daughter who's starting college next year. I announced my resignation BEFORE my year end bonus was allocated therefore I was entitled to $0 bonus this year (if I literally stuck around 2 more weeks I would have received my full year end bonus). I left with no job lined up which leaves me with an uncertain professional future. I gave up all healthcare benefits for my family and my company had a very good plan. Me leaving my comfortable and lucrative job is way out of my comfort zone, but I did it anyway. So I think it's safe to say that I'm ALL IN on the fight against tyranny.
It was not ideal timing for me to resign, but I couldn't spend any more time with a firm that is directly going against the US Constitution and stepping on personal freedoms. If you want the vax then get it, if you don't want it, then don't get it. NOBODY should be telling anyone what they should and should not do with their healthcare choices, especially upper management at a fucking financial institution!!!
Today is my first day on the other side. It feels good...a little scary, but good. Immediate plan is taking my 401k out of Cabal-delity and invest it the way I see fit. Then beyond that....who knows! Thinking of running for office on a patriot platform but have no political experience at all (which may not be a bad thing) - or helping out a Patriot campaign (any takers??). I'd like to pivot towards a "service to others" type of role as financial services is primarily "service to self".
Wish me luck fellow Patriots! Time for a cool change...
Best of luck. God speed Patriot.
God Bless You Patriot. The best is yet to come for you. New worlds will open.
I have stood firm, but not had to risk much. I don't answer to an employer, all our kids will NOT get vexed and we all live in a state that promotes freedom. You are a true hero.
Thank you! You are a hero too!
You Are A True Patriot. Your Family, Your Friends and Your Children Are Watching What Choices You Make.
You Have Sent A Strong Signal to them, your prior employer and associates that character and integrity matter.
You Are A United States of America πΊπΈ Patriot deep in WWIII undeclared color revolution. Battling true Evil in all its forms. You made a huge personal sacrifice because character and integrity. Bravo π π π!
"In the beginning of a change the Patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned.
When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."

Thank you so much for your kind words. God bless. π
Kudos on your courage of convictions and best wishes!
Buy a couple shares of GME. That thing could blow up big enough to replace your salary due to Wall Street corruption.
(And it might do nothing, this is not financial advise)
Yes. A little GME and some DWAC are part of the plan!
May God Bless You. You are not alone. Know that. Little River Band....
Thanks you and yes! Good catch on LRB!
Thank you for standing up! I'd put money on it your company has a COLI life insurance policy on employees. These policies payout to the EMPLOYER if an employee dies. Wanna know why they push the vax so hard?
Never thought of that. Very interesting. Will have to look into if they have that policy...I wouldn't be surprised if they do. Thank you!
God bless you, and best of luck in whatever and wherever He leads you!
Amen! He sure does!
Wow!
Congratulations and thanks for the share. You're on the right side of history and you'll land an even more fulfilling job soon enough. Keep up the good fight!
