Haha. 4th amendment, .suckers.
I'm not crazy, right? This is discrimination.
Any lawyer-pedes here with recommendations on how to fight this?
The more I think about it, the more crazy and unsustainable it is.
As they move the goalpost definition of "fully vaxxed", they'll have to keep sending these tests out, costing them tons of money as more and more people stop being "up-to-date".
This is without mentioning that the tests are EUA (the supposed "new" tests that can differentiate between flu and, well, c-19 flu aren't out yet, that I know of, if they even actually exist) and folks have every right to demand informed consent, We have every right to say "no", and especially to know where this information is being sent and how it's being used.
In fact: if you aren't my doctor, you honestly have no right to any of this information. Period.
sisolak is the worst I dont know a single person who likes him. What makes him so awful and damaging--other awful state govs actions, like our neighbor ca, get talked about and sissy gets to screw nv over more insidiously bc hes a nobody name wise.
So he makes this asinine move is when all the left run states are dropping mandates and theyre looking for an off ramp to this cov1984, here this moron starts another one up. What a loser.
That's hilarious.
They will be mailing the Covid tests to employees at home... so they can take the Covid tests themselves?
Of course, they will have NAVICA people on the internet with you, camera, microphone and speaker to make sure you test properly and they "witness" the tests.
What they wouldn't "witness" is the fact that I'd modify every test a few days in advance. I'd use a syringe to remove the liquid from the foil-topped test cylinder, then rinse and replace it with saline water. :>) Just make sure the foil top doesn't show the syringe hole.
The person monitoring the test will watch you peel the foil off the top of a new test cylinder, swab your nose properly, swish everything around in the solution... and then nothing shows up on the test strip. :>) Even the control mark won't show up... but that's OK, it still means you passed.
Mail me as many tests as you want. I'll pass them all without a problem.
I honestly have no idea how these tests are implemented (other than where they insert the Q-tip), only that I will never -- absolutely never -- take one. Your insight is much appreciated!
I'll take mass non-compliance for $600, Alex.
I like your no-budge policy! Unfortunately, my employer did fire those who remained unvaxxed and unexempted as of Dec 31st, 2021. 98% compliance here, too, it's disgusting. People are quitting like mad, as well.
Don't get me wrong, though: my job and income are not worth my health and privacy. I can always get a job elsewhere.
Legally, however, I want this to stop. Considering it's NV, there should be lawyers all over this nonsense. Instead: crickets
Same. Though I did a lot more with legal paperwork, putting them on notice etc. But by being openly expressing my noncompliance, not meeting any deadlines, and quietly following through, management just leaves me alone.
Where is the science? Omicron hits the vaxxed harder, and they still spread it too. So, the sensible thing to do is test people who have symptoms, not those who lack documentation.
