I was in a bank in NY today and, while standing in line, the double-masked assistant manager offered me a mask and I said "no thank you." He then said that due to state mandate, I can not be served in this bank and i'd need to go to another branch with a drive-thru. I said the mask mandate expired February 1 last I heard. He says, "No, it's been extended thru March 1st." He told me that I had to leave and I asked him to show me the mandate and I would happily leave.
Fast forward to half an hour later, I'm sitting maskless in a chair across from him at his desk while him and the branch manager scour the internet for the latest update on the mask mandate. They found nothing and VERY reluctantly accepted my deposit. I gave him half of the deposit I intended to make and said "It's been a pleasure doing business with you, I'll see ya tomorrow."
These people are enforcing mask mandates that they can't find any documentation for.
great job!
You are a badass patriot. May we all be this smart, and this hard.
...and then tomorrow, give them 25% of the deposit and say,"see you tomorrow"...
Lol
Based
There are no masks in my hometown bank, neither customer nor employee. They have these stupid plastic shields hanging from the ceiling to just above the counter. I walk to the side and speak around it.π I hate those things.
I always do the same, intentionally.
Good job!
BWAHAHAHAHA YAAAASSSS! This put a huge smile on my face. Thanks, OP.
People are such bots. Thanks for this post β Iβm dud for a trip to my local bank soon. Wonder if Iβll have a similar experience
You should have taken down his name and explain to him that the International Crimes against Humanity would be happy to add his name to their list for law suits and prosecutions.
they're living in a dream world.
This is how they survive mentally with the cognitive dissonance.
I road my motorcycle around MX for several months recently. When I got back to NYC, nobody has said shit to me. Not even a police officer in my burrito joint. It does feel like more New Yorkers are wearing masks now than before I left.
Change banks. Or go to a local credit union
nice work, but I'd change banks all the same to a patriotic one. I have accounts at a large well known bank that I must say never busted my balls when I went in with my "medical condition"...I really do, my body requires breathing of air with a minimum content of 19.5% oxygen, like every human according to OSHA
Makes going to the bank a lot more fun!
Good Win! πͺπβ€

Great story! Thanks for sharing!
This is my surprised face.
(I guess a picture of Droopy would be appropriate).
