The agenda is sinister and very open. The future is grim.

Well, they have to pay real men real wages to produce and refine oil. But they can and do enslave children to mine the lithium and cobalt to make rechargeable batteries.
And slavery is the name of the game for the new world order, ya know.
What they are trying to do won't work, they can't take a civilization that has been built purely by and for fossil fuels for the last few thousand years and completely switch to electric in less than 10 years. Not only will the infrastructure not support it, im just assuming that a large percentage of people in this country can't afford to switch everything including their vehicles to electric. I feel that this is a pipe dream that will fail miserably at cost of the American tax payer. Like everything else has since shit pants and the hoe stole the election.
All electrical products are based on gas and coal powered power plants. For all those who think nuclear is free from this, they're mistaken.
That, and then replacing the batteries every 3-7 years. 🙄
ABML, Redwood, American Manganese and many other companies are already emerging with the intent to RECLAIM the lithium from spent batteries
Like aluminum, iron, copper and pretty much every other metal on the planet; you can reuse it. Recycling lithium is shown to be better performing than virgin lithium. See Quantumscape for details on how reclamation of lithium results in ~40% greater surface area; which implies energy density
It's still, as far as I've been able to tell, not cheap. I don't want to have a looming expense equivalent to replacing my transmission every 5-10 years.
A taxi company pushed the latest batch of batteries well over 300,000 miles. Tesla says that depending upon how new the tech used, it may go further as tech improves

Where will all the garbage batteries go? The dump? Space? The bottom of the ocean? Battery technology is still in the stone age...
Problem is, we are the Flinstones. They have access to far superior technology, but don’t let us peons know about it. 100 years and we’re still using internal combustion for all travel? In less than 50 years we went horses to jet engines - and then 50 more years of nothing.
Fake history made it all possible
Precisely. We’re Flinstones in the Matrix …
I bought my first car when I was 20 years old. It cost me $300 and I needed to repair everything. I spent the next year rummaging through wrecker's yards looking for scraps and bits and pieces of anything because I couldn't afford to buy anything new. I was lucky enough to find the occasional tool. I bought two second-hand store leather beanbag covers and used those to repair the seats. I fixed the rusty spots and used fiberglass to repair the body. I even made my own windshield wiper fluid to save a few dollars.
I taught myself how to maintain that car. I made many mistakes and learned from them all.
Sadly, the car was 20 years old when I bought it. Although it ran well and was super clean and shiny inside and out, the engine didn't last more than six years.
But I could diagnose almost any problem with that car simply by listening to the engine and I could fix almost any problem with that car myself.
It wasn't very safe and it's fuel economy was horrific, but it's design was so simple. There was almost nothing under the hood and no computer chips.
One of my happiest memories from my youth was taking that car for a test drive after tuning the engine, idling at the traffic lights and listening to an almost totally silent, perfectly tuned engine and being able to hear the footfall of crossing pedestrians.
I wish we could return to simpler times.
In theory, H2 makes sense. But we are at least a decade before we can consider that. We don’t know if we will produce H2 from electrolysis, derive from methane or organic derivatives. There is no existing supply chain to build from.
We do have municipal level lithium storage systems. Prior art did not allow for efficiency energy storage.
Don't buy the fucking things
in 10 years they dream of a world population of 4b and falling. ie slaves and masters only. these cars arent for you.
No thanks. Ima keep my 5.5L V8 going for as long as possible.
These actions will all fail miserably
This is all bollocks. It can never work. Unless there is a tech to produce electricity on board/on demand. A small non radioactive generator (been mentioned around) which deplets in 100 years. The only way electric cars work is if they arent used. Own nothing and you will be happy.
"if they aren't used" - right. Electric car connected to the internet. They will ration how much you are allowed to drive. You'll work from home or live in a tower on the corporate campus. Slaves don't get many choices.
Who the fuck would want an electric Lamborghini
There are already anti gravity craft and that's the future. There are also batteries that can last hundreds of years. Get off the room and gloom...the future is bright. No pollution.
...I'm old, I need to hear a car to keep from getting run over...
...howls....
This dog likes a pussy’s purrrrrrr.
...nothing like a Mark IV 454 in my old Suburban...
...that cat could carry the mail and pull a load....
Oh the memories...by brothers put a 454 in a Ford econoline 350 12 passenger van. That thing rocked back and forth when the engine revved-oof
...Whoa Nelly....
...don't come knockin' when the Econoline be rockin'....
So agree! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
I got an old prius because of Brandon's gas prices (it's half paid for itself just since late october in gas savings), and I feel really bad for pedestrians when scootin' around parking lots when the engine shuts off. So quiet.
...just don't run over me O.K.?
...or just put some baseball cards in the spokes....
...howls....
...there weren't to many curbs in my neck of the woods, but I remember seeing them when I went to town....
This! ☝🏻 I’m so over these elitist twat-waffles! 🙄😠
yeah, right...
sounds like a bunch of horseshit and everybody but the richies are going to have their mode of transportation taken away
Free energy is suppressed and will continue to be. If vehicles are to be battery operated. Power plant consumption will only increase dramatically.
We know the democrats are at war with the coal industry. This is one reason WV Senator Manchin has distanced himself from the democrat party. Heck, Manchin comes from a small coal mining town. I didn't know about the "amount of coal fired plants taken off line though in the last 5 years" though. This would have cut into Trump's administration. I'll have to check this out. I can envision Biden doing this though. My question is what is replacing these plants?
Germany not too long ago scrapped all of their nuclear power plants. In the US, there have been a few I'm aware of that were finally taken off line. Nuclear energy is 'dirty' in the sense that there is no real solution for the spent fuel rods. which end up being stored on site. The NRC reports that there is over 71,000 tons of spent nuclear fuel in more than 30 states. Illinois has 9,301 tons of spent nuclear fuel at its power plants, the most of any state in the country, according to industry figures. It is followed by Pennsylvania with 6,446 tons; 4,290 in South Carolina and roughly 3,780 tons each for New York and North Carolina.
Most all of this is stored on-site at nuclear power plants across the nation either in cooling pools or dry casket storage. None of these storage methods is a solution to long-term storage. Cooling pools require a constant supply of fresh water. It should be no surprise that 'fossil' fuels run the pumps for constantly moving fresh water. The Fukushima disaster occurred because the "fail-safe" backup power for the pumps lost power resulting in the several cooling pools to evaporate exposing the spent fuel rods to air.
I've gotten heat in the past for saying the following, but to me it indicates the amount of nuke-heads and government commentators are at GAW. Here it is:
Nuclear power is heavily subsidized by the government and without it could NEVER be profitable. There is far more to nuclear power than its expensive energy. The integral byproduct of this energy is radiation that causes "aging" to the containment vessels themselves. This means the containment vessels become fatigued and brittle well before the normal life expectancy. This is why the Hanford site and the Diablo Nuclear power plant alarmingly found cracks and leaks in the units. Science has no solution to this. Yet, the NRC keeps extending the life of existing nuke plants well beyond their life expectancy. Tick, tick, tick.........
In thinking about your statement above, removing the public from 'fossil' fuels and nuclear would mean relying on alternative forms of energy. The democrats really don't have a plan except for the plan of destruction and returning us to the dark ages. Wind and solar energy is fickle and not reliable. Electric cars have to be energized by some source of energy that is not at an economy of scale. 'Fossil' fuels as much as I believe is a primitive energy source and we have the ability to do so much better, we won't see it as long as the financial cabal's continues its rein over greed and controlling every aspect of our lives.
