This is huge. It will bring the auto industry to its knees very quickly. The corridor between Chicago, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Windsor, Chatham, London and Ottawa is loaded with parts suppliers and assembly plants.
Closing the Blue Water bridge cuts off an alternate route but also the I-69 and 402 corridor. This shuts out the suppliers throughout mid Michigan cities like Lansing, Flint, Saginaw and Midland from the assembly plants all through SW Ontario.
I dont have the numbers on hand for the Blue Water Bridge but if the Ambassador is 25% of Us/Canada trade Id be willing to bet the BW is between 5 and 10%. Thats a third of all trade between the two countries.
What about the hundreds of thousands of small and medium sized businesses worldwide that were forced to close forever because of government lockdowns and mandates?
What about the families that owned those businesses?
What about the millions of people worldwide that lost their jobs when these businesses were forced to close down because of government lockdowns and mandates?
The picture of the "Ambassador Bridge" at Windsor ONT <==> Detroit, MI is a picture of the "Blue Water Bridge" at Port Huron, MI <==> Point Edward, ONT.
Looking at the overhead road signs in the picture state Interstate Routes " 94 69 Freeway Ends" Those both end in Port Huron, and not Detroit.
Why would a local Detroit Station (WDIV) write an article about the blockade in Detroit, yet use a picture of backed up traffic in Port Huron, 100 Km to the north?
Let the auto industry suffer, in fact let all of Michigan feel this pain. They sat by and let Whitler take their freedoms. Did you know it was illegal to even buy garden seeds in Michiagn for a while? How about that barber who was fined by the AG for thousands of dollars for wanting to work. Michiganders all need to feel this pain so they can finally throw off the yoke of big money government.
Amen! She opened everything because she was shitting her pants with all her illegal shinanigans. Trying to get her husband's boat in the well, having a party at her cottage, I hate that ugly alien with greasy skin stretched over her face!!!
It would be nice if the auto workers would unite against this tyrrany with the truckers. After all that's what the unions designed you for, a political force. For once it would be nice if it went against the cabal.
Does anyone know if Americans are gathering at the Ambassador Bridge? Can a not-vaxxed American make it to the Canadian side to support the convoy? I'm thinking about making the drive.
It not really an area where your able to peacefully assemble anything more than a small group of people. Its mostly industrial with only 1 real road thats even close and thats 1/2 mile to the river and hardly a main roadway.
The wife and I went down but couldnt get close. We stayed away from I 96 (the road that goes over bridge) and I 75 because we didnt want to get stuck forever. We tried the park and couldnt get there so we went to a SW Detroit neighborhood not far away from where Matty Maroun is trying to build his illegal second bridge but couldnt see much. We drove around trying to find a route until the wife got hungry and we went to nearby Mexicantown for lunch and Margaritas.
Traffic was a total clusterfuck. But I cant give an eyewitness account to protests on the American side. Windsor is much different. Huron Church Road coming off the bridge is a heavy shopping and hotel area and it turns directly into the 401 when you hit Tecumseh. The Detroit side though is off the beaten path (except for the two main highways) and away from the downtown area. The only commercial area is Mexicantown and thats a mile or more away and to hoof it you would have to cross the highway.
Thank you for this. I'm a few hours away and really wanted to drive over there but didn't know what I was getting into. It's good to hear there's fellow patriots on the U.S. side. This should be reported much more. I'm thinking I will make the trip this Saturday. If they can last till the weekend, there will be many reinforcements coming their way I'd imagine.
Will see what happens. It will of course suck if this effects us negatively but not if it will wake people the fuck up and we can all start converging on these fuckers in their white towers - we go after ALL of them, none of this "well he's a good republican" bullshit - they ALL DIE. Period end of story. First take out all the state ponies and then we all converge on washington DC. That will be a beautiful day!

"Workers of the world unite! .... No not like that!"

The stakes have been raised boys and girls.
Let the cascade of big business shut downs...BEGIN!!!

You think the WDIV Detroit TV News Channel, an NBC affiliate station, gives a crap if they post the right picture?
These people are the very definition of NPC talking heads.

Hello fellow Detroiter π

I donβt think so.
Turdeau has Canada locked down tighter than Epsteinβs sphincter the night they suicided him.
Hence the Mandate Protests across Canada. π¨π¦

P.S. You can always show your support on the American side, fren. We are still (just barely) a free country. πΊπΈ
