I hope you're right. My family in Canada doesn't trust the RCMP as far as they can spit. FWIW, my relatives are a political mix of mostly conservatives and a few liberals. Most support the Convoy - including my progressive cousin - and dislike Trudeau's handling of the protests at this point in time.
My memory is a bit foggy of who they were could have been RCMP they were on horses it was the late 90s when it happened. I was in the car with my mother and a naked homeless man was running around my mother asked on of them if they would do something about him as he was exposing himself to young children they didn't do anything at all and instead tried flirt with my mother. I only remember this incident because of how outraged she was that they could care less and let a naked man run around.
Not saying there aren't few decent RCMP officers still standing, but like our thoroughly corrupted FBI, those honest officers are powerless when orders are given by tyrannical leaders. They need to stand up to their "superiors", then leave the service because even if the Globalist $hits win a battle here and there, we know who will win in the end.
Don't think rcmp is involved yet. Didn't he say police of jurisdiction would have increased authority. He was asked about rcmp a couple times. That's what I got from his gibberish.
The RCMP will be heavily involved no doubt, working with members of the Ottawa Police proven loyal to their Globalist Puppet Police Chief. Just as they were when ordered to go after protestors with elements of the Windsor Police Force at the Ambassador Bridge. They had guard dogs and snipers.
Sad to say, but there are most likely plenty of Brotherhood of the Snake Boys in the RCMP. They are basically like our corrupt FBI - only more militarized. Don't let the old "Mounties are the Good Guys" propaganda fool you. Dudley Do Right is not on the menu.
Most Windsor officers were rotated away from the protest. The province and city bussed in officers from Waterloo (150 miles away) and RCMP to deal with the bridge. Windsor and the surrounding Essex county OPP police are overwhelming opposed to the mandates (one officer told me 80/20 split against) and they would not likely move against residents in their community, thus the need for out of town cops. As for snipers, they are part of every tactical unit deployed in this type of situation, so while it's disturbing, it's not immediately nefarious.
They aren't bringing in military. Apparently they gave their fed police the RCMP the power to move in and arrest.

With good reason, typically you base your trust on the history with someone or something. The RCMP, don't have a good track record.

Edit: forgot to say this was downtown Toronto
Well darn. Another bubble burst. There goes Nelson Eddy and Jeanette McDonald and Rockey's long chinned buddy. No illusions left.
That's the take from my Canadian cousins.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

That makes sense...from an evil planning PoV.
Ah ok.
Arrest away! Just like that “storm Area 51” thing… they “can’t arrest us all”!!
