This is a good point/thought. There’s really no perfect solution. Possibly implementing a requirement for the parents to fulfill full citizenship/naturalization within a certain timeframe. Wherein, failure to do so would require deportation of all parties. Those coming for the right reasons would immediately single themselves out.
Democrats created the immigration system — there was no such thing as an illegal immigrant before democrats created social benefits, and then restricted immigration.
Remove the incentive to break the law, and suddenly the law becomes much easier to enforce.
before welfare and other assistance's you came and made it or you left. I read in a book many years ago, can't remember the name, that 10 percent of all Italian immigrants went back to Italy, but 90 percent of Greek immigrants went back. Why? the book suggested that the American way of life appealed to the Italians more then the Greeks. nothing else was said or implied.
I think the people who go through the effort to become citizens should absolutely not be deported. Those are legit Americans as much as anybody else. Now the squatters who luck out and are given benefits because they’re good political tools can get the fuck out.
Anyone who crossed the border illegally leaves. They can come back through the legal process and enter that way. There is no excuse for violating the laws of the country.
I would propose this to be the right way to go about it. First, have a debate. Put everything on the table.
Start with whoever came in illegally at any point, all the way to those who came in recently, or those who eventually got naturalised. People need to be able to speak their mind on each of those categories without fear of being accused of racism, xenophobia etc.
Let the debate happen, and where ever people are comfortable drawing the line, let it be there. Anything is good as long as its people's informed choice.
IMHO! It’s too early to tell what America will look like after this is exposed. It will take decades to cleanse the system and build a new system. All of us will be busy trying to cope with all the information about who and what we really are. Our true history on this planet will be exposed and many of us will have to relearn our true place in a new world..
Like Ilhan Omar? Totally! Kamala, too: Trump already discussed sending anchor babies back, assuming they grew up somewhere else or hold citizenship somewhere else. Also dual citizenship should end absolutely.
But there's a ways to go before we have to deal with that question, so let's get Trump back first before worrying about the details.
To my knowledge, one must go through citizenship process to become Naturalized citizens. These are often individuals whom better our society.
What about the ones that have kids/marry just to live here?

The solution is remove all social benefits.

Cut welfare and assistance off and see how many stay and become productive people. That can be said for people that were born here as well.

Anyone who has absolutely no paperwork?
Undo Reagan amnesty, deport their decedents, deport anchor babies.

Why don’t you deal with the emergencies first?
