If being in/near the parliament is illegal even for elected people, then why not arrest Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland? Why not jail every single elected person?

That's my point entirely - is it illegal or is it not?

All indications are there is nothing illegal about their civic servants going to work, and that the police are felons even under the emergency orders.

He was elected as leader of the Libertarian party, but I don’t believe he is an elected representative in parliament.

Ok thats pretty weird if true, since on the arrest stream he showed all the IDs and such indicating his position as a parliamentarian.
