And this is why I drink
This is the way.
No, it is not. It's a cope. But it lubricates the mechanisms of the day, to a point.
Shit man, I wasn't serious about it.
:) don't worry, I'm having a beer as we speak
Everyone is allowed to cope. Just don't let it rule you.
We're all breaking free from something, one way or another. And now is the season.
this is a perfect way to describe it, thanks for sharing.
Also think it's like being at a hypnotist show, and being one of the few people not affected. to watch the people on stage act foolishly.
PERFECT analogy...
Probably why Paul uses this very analogy in the Bible!
The Day of the Lord
1Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
4But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
been sober since the Sunday before Thanksgiving in 2001 and yes, it's exactly like this.
Perfect analogy!
Beauty AND brains.... I like it!
Agreed! Very pretty and very smart!
In my life I have found that that (beauty and brains) can either be a great thing, or it can be lethal. When I met my wife-to-be, I quickly understood that she was the former, a great thing, and she has made my life more meaningful. Oh the wonderful conversations we have!
But I also dated a few brainy, nerdy, pretty girls who had more baggage than Delta Airlines, and they bordered on "psycho chick" boiling bunnies on the stove types that made me run away.
Ha! Great post! You’re wife must be lovely! Cheers!
Great analogy!
Good description
She's gorgeous.
So... you're saying that all the normies should start going to AA meetings..?
Yes, they are addicted and drunk on the MSM and they sober up by seeking out other perspectives.
I agree with Aarrow, but you can't force someone to become sober, or to get off drugs. They must see their decline for themselves (at least I've been told and I also agree with that) so we need to let them decline unto the depths they need to and realize they aren't swimming anymore--they will then look elsewhere for a way out.
Good analogy
It’s like being they only one that hasn’t turned yet in a zombie movie
wake, awake, woke -- no longer has much meaning. just call the other person a moron
Its frustrating yet fascinating at the same time.
It's kind of like being this guy.... 😂 https://ibb.co/YpxHxPK
