Does anyone know the conversion from watts to megatons? As in the cooking time for a two and a half minute bag of popcorn cooked in an 1100 watt microwave versus cooking via a 1 megaton thermonuclear bomb?

Depends on your goals,

If you wish a bowl of hot popcorn, the microwave will do.

But if you wish to understand the secrets of the corn, the thermonuclear blast just might open the quantum gateway to the corn 🌽 universe… particles, atoms, sub-atomic, energy, frequency, secrets, Qorn.
