I have to be honest here, I think we as a society have had it too good for too long.
What do we consider to be the precipice? No internet for 10 days? High gas prices? The outrage we feel at the insanity spewing from the Resident's so-called White House?
For some people, like a buddy's friend I know, it's getting grazed in the temple with a bullet while hiding from crossfire.
Are we really there yet? Do we really feel it yet?
I'm not saying we don't. But I'm asking the question.
