I can't believe that photo is real. Zero looks like a cutout. He just sticks out as well as the others in the links you provided. It is just BAD BAD BAD lighting if this is actually real!

it's a Reuters photo that made it to newspapers at the time (2005). Reuters is def not above fakery but the shadows on the ground in the same set of photos look realistic.
