Maybe the goal of sending the real info through the least credible places possible is to wake people to the fact that their preconceptions must be entirely discarded.
If they sent this info through traditional sources (NYT, NPR, CNN, whatever), it would preserve the credibility of those agencies and "conspiracy theorists" and "apologists" would continue to be treated as such.
They've funneled nothing but lies through the mainstream for at least two years. There's more work to do but I do know a multitude of people who have their light on and gears turning and who are perfectly happy to comb through "alternative" news sources now, with a now highly skeptical mindset.
Not sure how it is where you are, but most of the people I talk to in the general population of my area have tuned out completely when it comes to the news. The libs arent watching or listening to their old beloved news channels, the conservatives are the same with not watching/listening to the news they once did.
But BOTH groups are just rehashing what they hear from circle of friends & family with ZERO fact checking/resource digging by either side. That info spreads faster because no one IS verifying news. But they STILL have gone numb to most of it either way. Other than bitching about the costs of EVERYTHING increasing, they are still watching their dumbass tv shows and sports, supporting their fav musicians by going to their concerts, getting three sheets to the wind during their time off, or just doing anything rather than even getting involved in local politics or even what should be bi-partisan events to know what is going on in the community.
So many people have come to terms with that this is how the shitty world is now and that they dont seem to see it getting better any time soon. I have invited so many of them to numerous patriot events going on in the community, but they also dont trust many who are a part of the events, cautious that it is more RINOS/scams for money (even though no one is forced to give/data mining events/monitoring citizens/etc. Just a lot of people losing faith and trust in their fellow man when they have also lost all trust and faith in the Govt. I understand how they feel because I feel that way more and more every day.
I continue to go to the events, to connect with like-minded people at the very least, but I dont know it its enough any longer. I definitely see my city is headed for a MUCH more corrupt, lib place, and I, unfortunately, can not get out soon enough. I thought I was in a good, strong conservative state, but Noem's big ass mouth is bringing in a lot of people who intentionally want to change it and I think it was happening on the down-low, even before she put us in the much bigger spotlight. She's a RINO, too.
the real shit has to be shocking to a large degree. Problem with real shit is no real shit gets released/leaked. Like if it came out that the USA government is contact with aliens and releases some documents that will get attention. Similar line of thinking if any raw information comes out. It actually has to affect people's emotions.
