I think there may be a problem with tat idea. My understanding is that if someone serves as POTUS for two years that counts as a full term consequently he will have served two full terms by 2024 so will not be able to run again.
The US Constitution says that a person can only be ELECTED twice. So, he was elected and served one term (2016-2020). As long as Jackass, or someone else (Cameltoe), serves 2 years, he can be "installed" as president to serve the remainder (2 years). Then he can run again and be elected a 2d time. In essence, he could serve this country for 10 years (1st term - 4 years; installed - 2 years; 2d term - 4 years).
I hear what you say but there could very well be another rule that calls the move to the presidency an "election". We need to know the exact wording because you can guarantee that if there is any possibility of preventing that final four year term the Dems and the DS will be all over it.
A person can be POTUS for a total of 10 years. If President Trump were to be sworn in next January he would have 6 years by the time the next election took place. He could run for another 4 years. Then he would have a total of 10 years.
I still do not think this is the way it will happen.

Yes, I saw that but I also saw this:
Correct, RE-elected. He was initially elected (2016). Then if he serves up to 2 years he can then be RE-elected.
