For me it comes and goes... an overwhelming sense of hopelessness seems to creep up on me, and I have to fight through it.
Yes, Jesus is my source of hope. But I am human. I have a need to stay informed, and yet it wrecks me often, due to the evil I discover.
Even knowing that Jesus has won, that we have won, that we are winnning... these are such "far away" concepts in the face of the ugliness that we see unveiled every day.
So much energy goes into keeping a grasp on all that is happening, so as to be able to red-pill others and to protect my family. That's how I am wired. Can't help it.
So I find my balance this way: I try to limit my time here (rather than just an all day constant presence), and I pray for wisdom and strength. I also choose to live as an example of goodness (and I am not perfect!). These things keep me sane.
I wrote this because I assume many struggle with this balance... and I just wanted to encourage everyone to hang in there, and take a moment to acknowledge the challenge and to strategize about how best to maintain the balance for yourself.
If we are not mentally, emotionally, and spiritually strong when the shit really blows up, then we will not be the shepherds I believe God is calling us to be.
Yes, I agree... and I fail too often.
When you pray, first pray The Lord’s Prayer. Then pray His will be done in each of the areas that you are worried about (maybe news that you read that day. If something is very disturbing, give it to him right then in a brief prayer of grief. Use your hands and physically lift this issue and give it to the Lord. Once you give it to him, don’t take it back—it is in God’s hands. If it comes back to your memory, ask Him what He wants you to do and pray for those people who are affected [like the J6 folks in jail])).
Next, pray for Truth to be revealed and His righteousness and justice to come, that He would heal the sick, make the blind see, etc (let the Holy Spirit guide your prayer.). Say it aloud.
If you can, go outside alone or go into your closet to pray. Lift your hands up to heaven and talk to God this way unless you feel you should be on your knees. Also, read aloud Psalm 91 everyday. It can be in the form of a prayer or before bed or when you get up. Sometimes God will prompt you to read aloud portions of the Bible to proclaim it.
Go through your home and pray that the Holy Spirit fill your home with love, joy, peace. Ask the Lord to show you any area in your life or your home that needs to be purged and do it.
Finally, have scriptures all around your home—over your doorway, in your rooms, bathrooms, etc. You can write them yourself or find beautiful art with Scriptures to print off and frame. These are just a few ideas to bring you closer to God, and to put any discouraging thoughts out.
I have posted this prayer on a couple of threads here at GA and Patriots. You will not find it cut'n'pasted from the wider internet. I am the sole author. Many who have read it have agreed to join with me in this prayer daily. It is a prayer based in Scripture, consult the references. Be emboldened:
A Prayer for the Tip of the Spear:
Dear God,
Confound our enemies.
Cause the Deep State, the Shadow Government, and the Cabal to become the laughing stock of all time.
Go Psalm 2, Psalm 10, Psalm 35, Psalm 37, Psalm 59, Psalm 73 on all of our shared enemies: The Deep State, The Shadow Government, The Cabal. Finish them off with Psalm 109, remove them from power; give them no future.
Shelter us under the wings of Your protection as you have promised in Psalm 91.
Give us visibility to our protection even as You sent your visible angels to protect Elisha - greater are those with us than are with them. Send our opposition into blind confusion again as you did then. (2 Kings 6)
Allow Your servant, Donald Trump, to continue to lead like Gideon; let our opposition destroy themselves in their confusion as did the Midianites. (Judges 6-8).
Assure us that we need not fear our opponents, since, while we may not have complete visibility to it all yet, You have already won the war.
Cause our enemies who have amassed themselves against us to flee from us in fear as did the Syrians from Jerusalem. (2 Kings 7: 1-16)
Wipe out our enemies even as You did the armies of Sennacherib before Jerusalem - 185,000 of the enemy laid dead without swinging a single sword, or sustaining a single loss of one of Your own. (2 Kings 18-19)
Give our opposition an opportunity to repent, to lay down their weapons, and to cease making war with us. Have mercy on the red-pilled.
If the enemy fail or refuse to do so, as the vessels fitted for destruction that they likely are (Romans 9:21-23) destroy them entirely, and visit upon them ten times the pain and suffering that they hoped to visit upon Your people.
Let the whole World see and recognize that You are Just, that it is You that has done this great thing on behalf of His people, that the whole World will see that it is You who will defend His people, and that it is You who will be sure to more than settle the score.
Bless the Tip of the Spear: Donald Trump, Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, Michael Flynn, Mike Lindell. Bless Your servant messengers: James O'Keefe and Steve Bannon's "War Room," among others. Preserve and protect each of them as Your chosen ones in this time to motivate us in battle and to encourage us in the fight. Make us force multipliers.
Be with each of us, even as You have promised that You will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6), as You stand together with us against the principalities, the powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12-18).
Give us the courage to stand, as You control the shape of the battle. May You find us faithful.
In Jesus Christ's holy Name, we pray.
Beautiful prayer. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for this prayer structure. I will employ it.
Great advice
You and I both fren....it's OK. This is a constant battle due to our sinful nature. Get up, dust yourself off, and pray daily....and read the Bible too :)
Lots of good news the past few months as well so we can see God working ;)
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes... to all 8 of your statements. Thanks!
