May I ask for a prayer, frens? - The Great Awakening

I almost didn't ask because it seems selfish. Something very disappointing happened tonight that made me feel pretty bad. It's certainly not the end of the world, and that's why I almost didn't ask for a prayer from my frens, because there are so many more important things going on than my little problem. But then I realized that is just the enemy trying to get me to dismiss my situation as inconsequential. It may not be all important, but it is important to me. So if you wouldn't mind sparing me a prayer that God lifts my feelings of pain and distress and blankets me in His comfort, I would be very grateful. Thank you.

u/gooby, it is a PRIVILEGE to pray for you. Your disappointment and vulnerability are situations with which Christ our Lord is VERY familiar. THANK YOU for calling us to prayer!

"Precious Heavenly Father in these moments I want to uplift to You our fren, gobby. The details of gobby's situation are none of my business but Lord, YOU KNOW very well all that's going on here and You already know the needs to be met. I only ask that You, Sovereign God, will be glorified in this situation because I know that when You are uplifted, all people will be drawn to You. And when people are drawn to You, Lord, those people are mightily BLESSED! Father, I pray for MIGHTY blessing and uplifting for our dear gobby. Lord, provide that u/gobby may grow even closer to You and be empowered even MORE to be Your witness and be Your healing touch to their surrounding community. All praise, honor and glory, FOREVER be to The Lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world! THANK YOU, LORD JESUS! AMEN! AMEN! and Amen!"

Thank you so much, AroomaNuminahh. I honestly did feel that I probably shouldn't ask for prayer, considering all the many challenges so many people are dealing with. And yet, if I hadn't recognized that was just what the enemy wanted, I would have missed out on all this concern from my frens and this lovely, heart-felt prayer from you. Thank you so much, fren. It means more than you know.
