I still think that COVID was ultimately only believed by the minority. Optics alone made them seem* like the majority.
But, regardless, to your point... if a "new variant" scare emerged that minority of masked dolts would be elevated via the MSM/Social media to a level of virtue signaling we've never seen before.
Sadly, out of all the people I know, only about 10% of them refused the 'vax.' About 90% of the people I know got jabbed. :-( My numbers (based on personal experience) don't line up with the sheep #s being a minority at all.
True, but I think the context is slightly different here. The laptop situation does not have the personal impact that a potential deadly virus does. Fear is a much bigger hurdle for many to overcome than disgust. The media had far greater ability to spin the scamdemic than they will this.
But you are right. I still see tons of people wearing masks. And educated medical professionals who still say "trust the science" and "the numbers don't lie". Perhaps that is the issue...people within a particular industry such as the medical field don't want to have their "professional judgement" challenged, whereas there isn't the same type of built-in industry here (other than the professional pedos and crack smokers and child traffickers)
They can try that...but the majority won't buy it.
Although as we've seen, it only takes a vocal minority to squash things in the name of wokeness. So who knows...
