I just watched it last week and liked it. Real Brazil vibes.
Here's where you can watch it for free if anyone wants to.
THE ZERO THEOREM DRAMAFANTASYSCIENCE FICTION A computer hacker's goal to discover the reason for human existence continually finds his work interrupted thanks to the Management; this time, they send a teenager and lusty love interest to distract him.
Sounds like 'The Adjustment Bureau'
I liked The Adjustment Bureau but I thought the romance subplot was silly and unnecessary - it's used to much better effect in The Zero Theorem.
While the two films share some similar concepts, The Zero Theorem takes a very strange and meditative approach. It's loaded with symbolism. For instance, there's a scene where they order a pizza and the delivery woman arrives dressed like an overly-sexualized child... and then this happens:

It's those little details that make The Zero Theorem worth watching. People who haven't been redpilled will just write off the film as "slow and boring."
Anyway, The Adjustment Bureau also has its share of symbolism / truths but on the whole it's more of a straightforward action flick.
I'll check it out! I developed a problem where I cant enjoy a movie anymore, just looking for symbolism. Seriously though, I want to be on a movie set where someone is trying to shoehorn an All Seeing Eye into scenes
What's it about
Weird Terry Gilliam film. A man is tasked with proving everything equals zero, nothing.
I like Terry Gilliam's films, the ones I've seen. Notably, I loved Time Bandits. But there are others. 12 Monkeys is good. I'd never heard of this one though. Terry Gilliam seems to me to be outing a fair amount of stuff in his films. He did Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, for instance, which outs adrenochrome. I almost never watch movies anymore, but will give this one a look.
Yeah, I liked Time Bandits. I don't watch anything anymore. No interest. Zero Theorum was kind of slow and frustrating. I couldn't handle Fear and Loathing, it was disturbing to me. I've never seen 12 Monkeys.
I never watched Fear and Loathing either because I absolutely despise Hunter S. Thompson. But the Johnny Depp scene from that movie with the adrenochrome has been a red pill of very high potency so I'm glad the movie got made. I'm with you on not watching anything anymore. And I don't always know what to make of that. Once upon a time, I so loved a good movie or TV series (especially anything in the science fiction realm). But I just trust NOTHING from Hollywood anymore. The entire entertainment industry is so compromised I'm just not interested in feeding it.
I do, however, love some of the YouTube channels on gardening and DIY stuff. And I love the concept of people putting videos up that share their skills and those people being able to make a living doing that. I'm thinking someday that will be a very common way of "making a living" while helping people.
Sounds lame
It wasn't that great, the ending was very surreal.
