From Government, it'll be redacted to shit regardless. I was referring to prior. That's not the only copy of the contents, though, so if someone leaks it openly into the wild, you can't be sure. We've been hearing rumblings of a dump of the entire contents for a long time. That's why I said be careful.
You need two things to deal with this sort of thing:
Extreme mental fortitude
And one of two others:
Extremely good technical ability to hide your identity from the government
Immunity for investigation
But even if you ignore the (admittedly silly illegality of viewing materials of illegal activity to disseminate the information of said illegal activity so others don't have to) the worst part is actually having the mental fortitude to do it.
I could not work this role in the government. I could not investigate these sorts of crimes. Seeing real children abused makes me actively lose my composure and want to assault the abusers, which is not a good thing for an investigator.
The TL;DR: Just let the people better qualified handle it. It's safer that way, both legally and mentally. Shit stays with you.
All the pedos need to be taken down, but...the people with 'extreme mental fortitude' are corrupt:
"... the FBI actually improved the speed and accessibility of Playpen, and even upgraded the file hosting features that enabled visitors to upload and download content. ER.I 43 (misconduct finding (3)); see also ER-S.V 941 at ¶ 24 (explaining file hosting); ER.III 527-28; ER.IV 676 (user comment that “Clearly PlayPen runs considerably faster and more stable
now. Thanks a lot keep it up PP crew!”)."
Like people will be able to open and download actual hideous uncensored naked sex with children? From the Congressional record?
Something about that sounds slightly off, but I'm not a lawyer
