Yeah I've researched so much about home school for my 2 year old.
I mean if you think about what you learned in 12 years of public school... and out of those 12 years what knowledge you use on a daily basis, outside of the fundamentals, which can be taught by parents in probably a quarter of the time.
It's VERY little. The research I have seen is you can effectively home school a child 3-4 hours a day 3-5 days a week.

This is very true. Also you can adjust to learning style and speed. You will find some children soak up a certain subject and will do years of a certain subject in months. Meaning high school math can be achieved by a 10-11 year old that enjoys math, 4-6 year olds who love reading and writing will be reading whole books and writing stories that much older children cannot yet. Its all about the individual which is one of the many strengths for homeschooling. You dont have to stop at 1 lesson if your kid gets it instantly and is hungry to do more. Plus they often enjoy the activities and view it as fun to together with dad/mom. Focus on enjoyable presentation and not forced education and you will be amazed at how much more eager they are to embrace and learn at a startling rate.
I remember being about 10 years old in 5th grade and the school had the boys separated from the girls for a talk. They wanted to talk about menstruation before it happened to us. So they also had to talk about what sex was. I remember being shocked. Had never entered my mind before that. Little kids don't need to know all that. Leave little kids alone!

There has to be a way parents can home school their children , my God if my kids were young I'd starve before I'd have Them in school , I home schooled mine different years and that was 15 years ago, it was bad than, but this is a horror and should be illegal !
