Russia has said its forces have destroyed S-300 anti-air defense systems which were recently transferred to Ukraine by a European state. This after long ago warning that any external weapons shipments to Kiev would be deemed a "legitimate target" and that external backers providing the shipments would be held responsible.
"Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on Monday Russian Kalibr missiles destroyed on Sunday four S-300 launchers concealed in a hangar on the outskirts of the central-eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro, hitting 25 Ukrainian soldiers in the attack," Al Jazeera writes, citing Russian state sources.

Ohhh.
Sounds a lot like sooomeone planned a nasty headline splashing shootdown with weapons that could be pointed back at Russia.
I do hope that, in a timely manner, whoever was part of providing that shipment, gov personnel, elected or employed, and everyone along the chain, gets a 3AM visit from Spetsnaz.
Imagine being a NATO systems trainer, detailed to travel with the arms shipment, while knowing that Russia is going to track it to it's destination. then blow it and you up.
must be good for your morale, knowing that suicide missions are in your contract.
It's all about the $$$... oh wait.
