Any discussion about Amazon's ethics, etc., aside, WHY subscribe to Prime? Most of the time, anything we order with free shipping gets to us on the same date as a Prime order claims. Even if it takes another week, what's the big deal?
Amazon's free shipping used to be worth the $99 price tag. Now you are lucky if you get a single piece of bubble wrap in your paper thin package at $140. Their standards have really declined. The last few packages I've gotten from their store were all in shambles and falling to pieces by the time they arrived at my post office.
The whole purpose of Amazon was to kill off small companies then hike the prices. (It certainly killed off my small UK company. Luckily, I already had my retirement date in the calendar.)
Cancelled PRIME last summer, haven't noticed any difference.
They even tell you "you saved this much in shipping last year by having PRIME" and it was less than the cost of prime at the time, so it was an easy cancel to make!
Pro tip: Only purchase from Amazon when you have the minimum amount required for free shipping. Ignore the date(s) they tell you the item(s) will arrive. You will almost always get what you ordered in less than a week. There's no need to pay over $100 for fast delivery.
I use them for items that are not easy to find else where, yes I’m aware i found quite a few made in the USA lately. I want to support these companies so I went monthly I’ll get as many of the items we need then that will be it I’ll cut them off soon.
Oh, and The Grand Tour was the main reason we got it in the first place, years ago, when I had the student discount. It's doubled from that price nearly.

Exactly, with as many Amazon warehouses that have gone up, it doesn't take longer than 2 days usually for anything I buy to show up.
Crud!!!!
One of the few good things about AP is that it keeps me from going to WM for household stuff I can't get at Publix. I hate going to WM.
You’re not alone. I DESPISE WM

Time to break up Amazon.
All F.A.A.N.G. companies should be avoided
Time for a decentralized marketplace
Yes, decentralizing of everything. Go local or don’t go at all.

Meanwhile here in Japan, Amazon Prime is ~USD $40/y.
Yes cancelled my sub a while ago.
I've noticed the prices are really going up too
Bruh, not even like $5 or $10. But rather, booom! $20 bucks more! Yea, I’ll pass. They can suck a dick
YES! crazy!

Yeah I had the student discount, holy crap talk about sticker shock when it went away this month. I canceled Disney, Netflix and I guess prime now.
We'll be saving a lot of money we can put into America First, eh!
I cancelled my sub with the Wheel of Time debacle. I still get mostly prime delivery times still b/c their whole system is set up that way.
