If they refuse the offer, Musk sells off his 9.1% stake and the stock plummets.
He directly told them this in his letter to the chairman. He will "reconsider his position as a shareholder" if the offer is refused.
It is a checkmate
He's just shitposting but in real life
He actually gave them a generous deal per share, and I do suggest they take it, or he can let it burn and THEN buy it at 1/10 of that price. And it is in CASH....so, you either want to take the money or not.
You're trusting elon, the guy who makes electric cars to keep people locked in their cities, the guy who wants to make the mind control metaverse technology, to keep his word.
aaaaaaannnnndddddd
why didn't their stock plummet when elon bought it? I don't think he'd undersell it and take a loss.
Why does it matter if their stock plummets, anyways? Who cares? They can just manipulate the market and put it to wherever they want it too, anyways.
Elon has never once said that we need to transition entirely to electric. He is vocal against the woke Climate Change movement, and supports the oil industry. He (the man running the EV company that you fear) called for the United States to resume all oil production immediately, calling it highly irresponsible to stop production of oil. Another large venture of Tesla is creating large battery farms to help stabilize our power grid.
He founded a company that is building brain implants, with the intent of curing/treating debilitating mental disorders. He is very vocal about the dangers of this technology, as well as AI, which is why he's involved himself in both ventures (he fears the technology as much as we do, and he wants influence over the inevitable furtherance of the technology).
Why would it? A billionaire purchasing 10% of a stock will only ever raise the price of that stock.
The millions upon millions of shareholders that the board have a fiduciary duty to, care, deeply.
So why would selling it matter? He bought it from someone, someone else will buy it. And we're arguing about fake numbers on a screen anyways. They can set the stock price to whatever they want.
And it looks like you still think these people play by the rules and tell the truth about what they're doing and why they do it. lol
Him purchasing it makes it go up because people see his purchase and buy. Him selling makes it go down because people see him sell and get scared and sell too.
Whales influence the market far more than you think
Holy shit dude you're insanely ignorant. Just quit embarrassing yourself.
Neurolink is keyword optional. Electric cars are keyword, optional. How does that keep people locked in their cities?
Optional for now! Cali is moving towards 100% electirc cars!
Yea but Elon isn't the one doing that.
That's Gruesome for you.
