THIS!! The alkalization of the body is super important in this equation. While growing cancer cells in the Biotechnology program, if we didn't keep feeding it sugar water, keep its environment PH acidic or keep them warm, then they died off en masse. I realized by cutting sugar out of your diet and eating less acidic foods, you could prevent or reverse things such as cold sores, tumors and most cancers. I was told it wasn't THAT easy by my professors but when I started searching Pub Med, I saw many positive experiments that had the same logical idea.
And we learned that Chemo is radiation but then we learned that radiation causes cancer. So, of course, the question arises, "Why are we using radiation to cure something radiation causes?" The answer is usually that these people will probably die and need drastic measures to extend their lives a little bit. Does chemo destroy bad cells? Yes, but it ALSO destroys good cells too, so now you are in a VERY vulnerable position where you now destroyed what good defenses you had left and when the enemy comes back, they walk right through the front door. Thank you for mentioning these details because they are very important!!
As humans we are omnivores as evidenced by our teeth, so I do believe we should eat meat but I literally try to cycle out my meat and have equal amounts of red meat, chicken and fish. Lots of food are actually both acidic and alkaline, however, if I'm really sick, I personally cut out the most acidic foods like chocolate, coffee, strawberries, alcohol, red meat etc and just eat chicken, apples, etc...to bring my body into a more alkaline state in order to heal better. I'm a chocolate freak so I just try to eat acidic foods moderately in general and then when I'm sick, I cut it out for a few days. I mean, strawberries have antioxidants in them, so I would never say cut them out completely but they are super acidic to the point where Tom Brady won't eat them.
The biggest rule of thumb I learned was to eat more foods higher in the amino acid L-Lysine and less of the foods that contain high amounts of L-Arginine. I will admit that I always feel great-better memory function and more energy-when I eat less foods with arginine. I take an L-Lysine supplement once or twice a week too. Good luck, fren!!
In moderation. We ought to rethink how we prepare a meal. Every notice we start with the meat? Why is that? How about thinking the meat is the flavoring to add to the veggies instead? I don't really like eating red meat and pork. The reason for this is quite different than it being acidic, but due to it getting caught between my teeth. I have real issues with this. For me, it is another reason to avoid red meats. I prefer chicken/fowl and fish.

I googled acidic foods and it (also) says meat. Would you agree we should not eat meat?

Interesting stuff, thanks. I'll do some research on it, as I'm trying to be more healthy. Already cut back on pasta and sugar substantially.
