Grow food? Pretty sure a garden doesn’t need approva
What they don’t know, they don’t know.
I live in a neighborhood but in the county not city limits, in the south. I collect rain water in a bucket for my new garden. Heck we aren’t “supposed to have chickens” either but I recently found out (as did the whole neighborhood, lol) that a couple of folks have one or two, because one got out and was wandering the neighborhood. Everyone except 1 Karen thought it was pretty funny that it was just taking a stroll down the street visiting neighbors and great that someone had chickens.
Who would want to join a HOA? And who wouldn’t know they were in one?
I doubt that happens much, if at all (complete retards being an exception).
Real estate transactions require the seller to give the buyer a copy of the CC&R's prior to closing. If the buyer choses not to read them or have someone explain it to them, then that's their fault.
Unless you're in Houston, which has no zoning.
True. But it's still rather chaotic compared to most other inner cities. Trust me, I've been there.
