There's a more than good chance the vast majority of employees were of the "woke" variety. But I'm wondering if all the activist employees weren't running their own bot farm, to amplify the woke messaging. And if they now need to delete those fake accounts to cover their tracks, hence the sudden drop in followers of the woke. A cult created their own ghost army to attempt to hijack our society. At the same time they suppressed real people from the platform, they took total control of the voice of the people and twisted it to fit their own beliefs. The media colluded with them, as did members of government. How much of our society is actually "woke". Probably way less than we thought.

The 'great and powerful OZ' is not so great and powerful when the curtain is pulled back.
Its why people like Andy Ngo notice that all the antifa events all over the nation inevitably have the same mugshots and faces from the same feral criminals attending.. they get bused around to attack city after city as part of the ongoing hoax to make it seem like they are more active, more numerous, and present on a wider front than their paltry numbers indicate. The real-life equivalent to the twitter bots.
Meanwhile 'Kyle crossed state lines' lol.
They absolutely were in charge of the propaganda unit, be it fake handles/puppet accounts and framing the political narrative.
What else could they possible be doing?
Perceptive.
I'm not a big fan of equal opportunity employment measures, but shouldn't there be some rule where they are required to employ a certain amount of conservatives? I saw some chart on GAW a day or two ago showing that 98% of all political donations from Twitter went to Democrats. Considering that at least half the country (probably quite a bit more) is conservative, shouldn't they have more conservatives on their payroll? Seems like discriminatory hiring practices to me.
Here is what they were doing and are now actively trying to hide:

Because DARPA.
On top of what you’ve said, I imagine it also helped them keep their code base really compartmentalized, making it even harder for anyone to really understand what was really going on.
I suppose that many employees were assigned to watch over a number of Patriotic Populist/Conservative accounts. They wait for the slightest excuse to exercise the ban hammer.
Just the other day Jack Posobiec called Kyle Rittenhouse "CARL".
I believe this is a reference to the very popular and widely used Discord Bot, Carl-BOT
