Instead of doing that, you found a quote you think proves there's nothing wrong with Alexandrian manuscripts.
Why is Acts 8:37 missing from Codex Vaticanus?
If you can explain why Irenaeus quoted the verse that supposedly didn't exist in the "earliest" manuscripts, I'm all ears.
After all, the verse "I believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God" is a very damaging statement to Gnostics.

If you're comparing verses that are the same in both the King James Version and the Codex Vaticanus, you're missing the point completely.

When looking at Vaticanus, I'm going to try to go as directly to the text as I can and give a translation of it. I'm not trying to look at other peoples translations of translations of Vaticanus over the years.
Acts 8:37 isn't in Codex Vaticanus but is quoted by the early Church fathers.
Why was it removed?

Exodus 13:2 was easiest passage to find, translate, and write down. If you want a passage from new testament or another translation let me know. This text in Codex Vaticanus doesn't match what is being said in "Against Heresies".

You need to find verses that are different in the modern Bibles, which were translated from the earliest texts such as Sinaiticus and Vaticanus, as compared to the King James and other Bible versions based on Hebrew Masoretic Text and Textus Receptus and then compare those verses to quotes from the early Church fathers.
I already annoyed you by editing a post to provide the example of Acts 8:37, but it's clear Vaticanus and Sinaiticus don't contain this verse. You posted a Wikipedia link admitting this because you apparently trust globohomo sources for some reason.

So it seems from Metzger 2001 that the earliest Bible found with Acts 8:37 was from the 6th century. That text may not have originally been there, it doesn't knock down the divinity of Christ in any way as the Son of God. Are there some examples of Irenaeus quoting Acts 8:37 ?

Irenaeus quoted the verse in writings which are older than Codex Vaticanus.
Maybe you should look at the primary sources instead of taking globohomo's word for things.
