Did you ever see They Live? Burst into some mid-market sized 10 pm news broadcast room and force their engineer to play it. Tens of thousands of people will see it live and thousands more will have DVR'ed it. The day before doing that it would make sense to upload an encrypted copy of it to some torrents and file sharing sites and try to convince as many influential Patriot podcasters, Youtube folks, Twitter accounts, and websites to encourage people to download it and wait for the encryption key. Just prior to entering the broadcast room you'd send the decryption key to all these Patriot folks and post it publicly. Good luck containing it at that point.
FYI, due to delayed broadcasts there is more than enough time to stop that even in live TV.
That was the point of being in the booth, which is the people controlling the broadcast. And I've seen plenty of recordings of things happening on live tv that I don't think for a second they would have aired if it were that easy to interrupt.
