I wasn't able to produce enough after becoming sick with Mastitis. What was my son supposed to do? Starve? I WHOLLY believe in nursing, however there are times when it's simply not possible.
My wife wasn't able to produce enough milk for our twins, so we relied on formula as a supplement. Just like you, I'm all about breastfeeding unless it's not possible (and that doesn't mean "inconvenient"). Top comment is correct, babies shouldn't be drinking formula. But when the alternative is malnourishment or death, formula should be readily available.

Anyone over 60 didn't grow up on artificial baby formula funny how farm moms took unpasteurized milk from cow ( good enough for calves) put it in bottles and we grew up fine. Then they pasteurized the hell out of wholesome milk pumped artificial vitamins and minerals back in and said here you go. Excuse me because the more I study and learn about crooked big pharma the more suspicious I am of anything government or big pharma has done for (TO) us for decades. Go get some unpasteurized milk ... the baby will be better off in the long run or breast feed.
