If you have a baby, you can get a recipe from your pediatrician. At minimum, check the sites online that have posted modern, better for your baby recipes.

Should probably have some fats added one would think.
You act like all mothers are able to breastfeed. Unfortunately, some can't produce milk or enough milk. I'm not arguing against homemade formula, just that there has been a stride or two in nutrition since John Kennedy was president.
That's simply not true and is a modern myth.
I know two young ladies who are using formula. They told me it's because their babies are "allergic" to dairy products and such. Instead of working it out, mom not eating certain things, etc, they choose to go with the formula. Lactation consultants, nurses, drs all hold responsibility for this formula dependency. If I was those girl's moms, life would've been different. Oh! Also, some of these babies who have trouble latching on may have a slight tongue tie. It doesn't seem like this is looked for now a days. Nursing is Work! It hurts in the beginning for sure. I think these women are not properly informed or helped.
It's frustrating to watch all the actual misinformation about breastfeeding being spread by lactation consultants, nurses, and the general public who simply just don't know shit about breastfeeding in this country. 90% of women who think they can't breastfeed actually can, they are just being told the wrong information, and don't get proper support or education. Society wants women to formula feed.
If I were legit unable to breastfeed my baby in these times, I'd be all over the breastfeeding boards looking for an organic breastfeeding mom near me to sell me some breastmilk. And if I was still breastfeeding during these times, I'd be donating breastmilk like crazy.
And, each nurse pushes a difference strategy. Had all three of my kids in same small hospital. Different nurse each time pushed completely different ideals for nursing.
Goats milk is an awesome supplement and when I had dairy allergies as a kid I would drink our goats’ milk. It made a world of difference.
I have personal experience with this. Following are my observations based on my own 24 months of round-the-clock breastfeeding of my children, and the observations and conversations with multiple friends who shared their breastfeeding journey.
Your body is hormonal and emotional. You have to overcome your own reluctance and fear of the experience. If you don't, it'll likely not work.
Most mothers I knew did breastfeed successfully with the proper education, motivation and assistance. Help is out there if you need it.
Breastfeeding is a strange experience that can be off-putting if not properly prepared. There is a strong psychological and sometimes physiological deterrance in the beginning. You have to overcome the following:
~It feels weird and embarrassing at first
~It can be uncomfortable or even hurt in the beginning
~Some people criticize you if you do/or if you don't - stigmas both directions
~There's worry that breast shape and size will suffer afterwards
~Afraid hubby won't like seeing it, some men are off-put by it
~Afraid won't produce adequate, quality milk
~Ties you to the baby as the sole means of sustenance, leaving you feeling that you cannot leave child's side for more than a few hours at a time.
In the end, after persevering and seeing the healthy benefits to both baby and mom and the unexpectedly beautiful bond that is created between the two from the experience, you will be forever glad you did it.
Amen plus nothing is better or more nutritious for your baby
Like those confused men who think they are women because “I can’t understand basic biology”
OH?
Well my wife had difficulty until she fixed her diet then had a bumper results. Just old pre Kennedy know how passed down.
I had mastitis with my oldest daughter (very painful) with stringy bloody clotted milk and the nurse had me put wetted down black tea bags on my nipples and it took away the pain and made everything work just fine and cleared it up quickly.
