Different audience and generations. The people that grew up with 4chan are in their 30s and 40s now. The older folks never used it. And the younger ones donโt know what it is either.
Thereโs this band of ages that grew up with it, who saw the magic and realized indeed, /pol is always right and unfiltered anon posts are the best way to get to the truth. for the younger generations, 4chan isnโt as big as it was for us. They too pussy.
The younger generation grew up with a centralized and censored Internet. They don't know what they're missing.
Yep, I grew up in a time I had to switch floppy disks in the middle of installing a program.
๐๐๐ Same here!!! Totally forgot about that!!! ๐๐๐
I was on there for about a year almost 2 lurking/mind blown at the things I was learning before I came here. I grew up knowing a lot of things were off. My mom raised us with an โanonโ mindset so never trusted govt.
I'm a whole lot older than 40, and I followed Q on 4chan nearly from the start. The first time I took notice of it was February 2018, four months in. Perhaps there is a majority of one age group that was there posting regularly, but there were many others as well.
I'm over 50, and a grandpa, and I 'member those days on halfchan, cuz I was there, right when all the shills and bots were swarming Q posts.
