Why would that be? You would think that other ceremony she just missed is far more important than a horse show. If she is sick and has limited ability to do anything, why would she skip the incredibly big deal ceremony, allow the symbolism of her empty seat to be shown to the world, and then a week later attend a horse show. Gotta be a double, or she has some kind of sickness that’s unpredictable. One day she’s incapacitated, one day she’s fine. Whole thing stinks.

The Platinum Jubilee celebration is in early June. 6/2 is the coronation anniversary. George VI died 2/6. Interesting. She actually ascended to the throne at his death in 1952, but the coronation was held in 1953 - mourning period, etc. But I never noticed the dates flips for month and day.
