Remember what happened to the McCloskeys? Defending their private home from protesters in a gated neighborhood and still taken to jail.
Don't you know we have a two-tiered justice system now? Rules for thee, but not for me?
/sarc to drive home your point. Well stated.
Really this is not an over-the-top law. It prohibits only certain manner of protest, and the protestors would likely have to be very aggressive to establish intent and be charged under this law:
https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2022/1571/BillText/er/PDF
"It is unlawful for a person to picket or protest before or about the dwelling of any person with the intent to harass or disturb that person in his or her dwelling."
Ok and further, y'all are missing the most fun part of this. The case law that FL cites is Frisby vs. Schultz. Case was decided by a 6-3 vote to protect the tranquility of an abortion provider's home, with Sandra Day O’Connor writing the opinion for the majority. Justice White concurred with the condition that he saw this as a limitation for single residence picketing.

Thank you for the additional details u/merf 👈🏻
A bill is only good if you enforce the law.
Truth.
Time for Thomas, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Alito, & Barrett to move to Palm Beach, Florida. 🏝
P.S. 🤬 Roberts
As much as I would like to see that mob thing happen to some of the sellouts that run my county, I realize it violates their rights.
Exchanging a little freedom for some safety.
I agree with you on that. I believe it was Benjamin Franklin who said,
The US Constitution already bans Protests at judges residences. Either DeSantis is trolling the federal government over their lack of prosecution for breaking the constitution at Alito, Barrett, and Thomas's homes or he is looking to reflect the federal law as state law in Florida.
