I have always wondered how liberals who fought for workers rights and against employers for most of my life just flipped on a dime and said: “ yeah, employers should be allowed to determine exactly what healthcare you take and what things you must put in your body ... and while we’re at it , they should monitor everything you think and say outside of work and control that as well!” .... but that was a long long time ago, when I still expected some form of sanity and consistency.
Not sure about you all, but my part of our employers health care plan is just short of 1500 monthly for 2 adult one child. (Includes 80/20 w 2800 ded, dental vision, life and long term disability.) thats after employer contribution. 2200 total.
Ridiculous!
Get this...they sold the concept at the time that it would lower health care costs because of the pooling potential of large employers. And it was for a bit a lower cost but eventually it became an out of control behemoth.
Right now tying health insurance benefits to a job really undermines what health insurance should be as competitive pricing is no where near where it should be.
This seems unique. I've been employed under several employer health plans, as has my wife, and neither of us have ever had to answer so much as a questionnaire let alone perform a test.

The huge company I take money from offers cash/discounts for a physical, I think. I just skip it, I keep my data and they keep there carrot.
Are you positive that isn’t for life insurance?
Yes, some sort of health baselining and to get you seen by a dr.
Extra life insurance requires a different exam. Term life separate from my company is cheaper, and it’s mine whether I work here or not.
My company does that too but I’ve never done it either.
What’s wrong with fecal test?
Nothing if you are choosing it and the results stay private.
