Why do the State’s even have a role in a political Party’s nominating process? And for the most part the “two” parties that make up the Uniparty? Many of the minor parties aren’t eligible to be on a primary ballot and handle their nominations in another method.
Not campaigning against a primary election, just saying it should be up to the Party to conduct it.
Doubtful. Wyoming is literally the reddest state in the union by a wide margin. Conservatives outnumber liberals 4-1 in Wyoming. If cheney were to someone win her primary at this point, Wyoming pedes would probably go wild west on the people responsible and kill them in that weird spot between Idaho and Wyoming where murder is legal.
Heh, rather bizarre loophole in the legal system. Yellowstone is administrated by the government of Wyoming, but technically crosses over into Idaho in one specific spot. Because it's a national forest, the Authority is delegated by the federal government and neither state owns the land. Now having said that, the feds only gave Authority to Wyoming to administrate the part of the park that's in Wyoming for some bizarre reason.
So because of this, that very small, I think 2 square mile, area of Yellowstone that lies in Idaho that is what you would call a "legal black hole". No one has authority over it. The feds don't have authority since they delegated authority for the park to Wyoming, but Wyoming doesn't have Authority over that part because it's in Idaho, and Idaho doesn't have authority over it because it's part of Yellowstone.
Hence, no laws of the United States apply in this area, and literally everything is technically legal, since no legal authority has the ability to enforce laws in that area.
Unfortunately, they're completely allowed to do that here. It's definitely messed up. We could do the same to them as well.
Rush used to refer to this tactic as "Operation Chaos" when reps did it to dems.
like you think they really counted votes?

This will happen in Wyoming for Liz Cheney also.

Not gonna lie. I am very intrigued about that "spot"

Outstanding! Thanks for the explanation.
