Right now I'm helping an overwhelmed N. CA homeschooling organization that's doing its best to keep up with the demand. School shootings and most importantly watching the woke, incompetent, paranoid teachers in action during lockdown Zoom school woke up a lot of parents.
Biggest worry: 1 parent needed to work at home or quit working outright to supervise their child's schooling. The latter is a hard choice to make in these Bidenflation days. We're working on getting children of poorer working parents with homeschooling families or enrolled in charter schools started by teachers who left the CA public school system due to the virtue-signaling insanity.
My sister is involved in something like this in CA. It is almost like a charter school, but not exactly. I do not know any of the other details other than that business is booming for her. She gets paid per student and her classroom is at max capacity.
Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, Commiefornia has some very strict rules regarding homeschooling. There are lawsuits pending to alleviate these restrictions.
I really like the idea of a homeschool collaborative.
Right from the get-go, government schooling has been a control scheme to shape children in the manner the elite wanted them shaped. Originally it was compliant cannon fodder and factory workers; today, of course, it's to turn children into rainbow-haired mentally ill nightmares who hate white people (especially if they ARE white), don't have any idea what normal sexuality is, can't remember what gender they are, believe socialism is the only compassionate political system, and have been trained to express outrage on demand whenever told to do so by social media.
Or you can have silly bitches trying to hold you back from entering the school while your children are being shot and they make it clear they are too scared to enter.
The choice is simple.
I’m going to attempt to piggyback off this post since I’m sure there will be some homeschoolers who can help. We’ve decided to remove our daughter from the 60+ vaccine list required by what seems every single pediatrician in my state. Where do we go? No one will see her.. this is troubling.
No it’s not a law. We just signed the religious exemption form and our doctor said that this will be our last visit, and he can’t recommend anyone because every pediatrician he knows has a strict vaccine policy. I’m placing calls to local pediatricians and sure enough, he’s correct.
Does your child have a medical condition? Are there alternative, holistic doctors near you? I go on YouTube to listen to holistic doctors, nutritionists to find natural ways of taking care of inflammation etc. I don’t have a high opinion the he pill pushing medical field.
I agree completely! We both see holistic PAs, but even they pushed the jab.. it’s like, where do you turn. I know for a fact that I read for studies than the doctors telling me to jab my daughter. It’s frustrating. YouTube it is! Thank you
Ok, pedes, I’m retiring after 35 years as a band director. I would love to offer home school band. Any thoughts on … is this something you are interested in, what are you willing to pay? Feel free to provide any feedback to help make this a possibility!
I retired from public school teaching in 20 after 40+ years. I immediately started my own tutoring business tutoring just math. Thanks to the increase in homeschooling, business is booming.
So homeschooling has doubled since 2019/2020!! I don’t see 2022 up there yet but I’m sure it follow the curve trajectory! Glad to be part of this statistic.
This is why "These people are stupid" does make some sense.
They operate against their own goals.
They hate home schooling with a purple passion because children are then out of their control, so they can't keep them dumb and unable to read, write or do math, can't program them to conform, to comply, and to hate, and can't groom them for sex.
Then they engineer countless school shootings, which make parents want to home school their kids.
Exactly, the same with guns. They want to confiscate them but sales have skyrocketed since Obama. Their stupid ‘defund police’ have made cities more unsafe and minorities and 1st time gun buyers are rushing to get them. Now the shortage is on ammo.

I run an underfunded homeschool charity. We will fund curricula for a small set of homeschoolers who need it. (And we accept donations too LOL)

Likely for kids to get a much better education. But if they don't, parents have no one to blame but themselves.
