What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
You had a lucky escape. They are still making people get PCR tests to travel anywhere in UK..and a positive test meant some Americans stay here was ruined as bookings for events and travel had to be cancelled. The trains are also as they usually do at holiday time going on strike.
Would never advise anyone to visit this corrupt island..parking wardens prowling everywhere and .the weather is crap too!
Lol. I'm sorry but that was such a self-loathing write up of the UK it really tickled my funny bone. 😂
PR sounds like a lot less hassle for OP, especially if they're coming from the States. I've heard good things and bad. Most of the bad things I've heard have been from Puerto Ricans. 😂
Yeah I went there several years ago for a weekend be a use a friend invited me to show me around, so I pounced on that opportunity. It was only for a weekend though. Now I'll probably do 2 weeks and maybe rent a car.
Nothing bloody in history I have ever read didn't have its roots here in UK...the most corrupt of places.. especially inner London...temple bar the financial system of the world
Yeah the pcr test is pretty much standard, which is ridiculous. I've had a glaring false positive before ans had to miss a week of work.
I can't imagine having another and paying 10 days of hotel out of pocket and missing more work.
It's not a legal requirement ..it is against your rights. But you would probably lose your job.
I know coffee fruit juices..anything acidic can . Affect it..even water has been tested as positive. Look online..may be some more ways to avoid positive response
A pretty based friend told me mouthwash helps get you a negative but who knows? Since rapid tests are allowed in the US traveling can always book multiple tests and wait for a negative
Listerine mouthwash has been shown to kill viruses (mostly due to the alcohol content) as will ISP rubbing alcohol. (See last half of this comment for actual scientific proof).
I recommend you do this before any PCR test and also if you've been exposed to the virus:
~ Gargle with Listerine, and;
~ Blow your nose well and then, use Q-tips dipped in a capful of 50% ISP rubbing alcohol and swab the insides of your nose. Use a hand mirror to make sure everything is cleaned up. Reach as far back with the wet Q-tip as you can. The Listerine gargle and the nostril clean up will remove and kill any microbes that may cause you test positive.
~ Real Life example: For the past two years, my daughter and her co-workers have been required to test 1x or 2x per week by their employer (the bastards) and she does the above each time prior and has NEVER tested positive. She may be in fact the only one in her office that has consistently been negative.
ADDITIONALLY, she has faithfully been on the weekly Ivermectin + Quercetin, Zinc, D3, NAC, Vit C, etc., protocol for at least 16 months.
Side benefit - wiping the insides of yours nostril with 50% rubbing alcohol, sterile saline, or even just distilled water feels really nice and seems to benefit the nose.
HERE IS THE DATA ON ALCOHOL KILLING THE VIRUS:
In March 2020, a Japanese scientist named Tsumoru Shintake who is a Professor in Physics at OIST Graduate University in Okinawa, Japan came up with a solution to kill CV-19. (I saved his 12-page report). In it he said:
"Viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza are lipophilic, enveloped viruses, and are relatively easy to inactivate by exposure to alcohols."
"Alcohol for disinfection (rubbing alcohol in US, Surgical spirit B.P.) has been well established to sterilize various bacterias and disinfect viruses. Alcohols target the bacterial cell envelope, with resultant lysis of the cell and release of the cellular content. Also, it is well established that lipophilic, enveloped viruses are easier to deactivate by alcohols than the non-enveloped viruses.."
He also suggested that:
"... it may be possible to use alcoholic beverages of 16~20 v/v% concentration for this disinfection process, such as Whisky (1:1 hot water dilution) or Japanese Sake, because they are readily available and safe (non-toxic). By inhaling the alcohol vapor at 50~60°C (122~140°F) through the nose for one or two minutes, it will condense on surfaces inside the respiratory tract; mainly in the nasal cavity. "
TLDR Translation:
He tested many flu-type viruses including the most virulent and found that simply using a spray bottle full of rubbing alcohol to spray in the air around yourself (it evaporates quickly) will kill the airborne virus. And if you inhale the alcohol vapor, it will help kill whatever is in your respiratory tract, and if you spray into your clean mask, you'd eliminate any viral particles on it in under 60 seconds.
Here is the name of his published report:
Possibility of Disinfection of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) in Human Respiratory Tract by Controlled Ethanol Vapor Inhalation
Bicarbonate of soda sounds a good bet..it is alkaline so would mean a negative test. No disease can exist in an alkaline environment and this test is fake in that there is no contagious virus it will be reacting to something. depending on howxmany cycles the test is run at it will find something the higher the cycle.
