No it doesn’t lol. Coffee is loaded with carcinogens and mycotoxins. We don’t use exogenous antioxidants. That is all snake oil. If we eat properly we make our own, glutathione and it works wonders. We don't use plant molecules well. That is all observational study data, not interventional. All fluff.
Alternatives to coffee for energy?
Nascent Iodine. Start slowly though and let your body become accustomed to it. Added effect is that it decalcifys the pineal gland.

Fructose is poison. We do not need any sugar or carbs in our diet. I had the same experience as you.

Too much caffeine causes panic attacks. I've experienced anxiety after too much strong tea even.
