I came across this discussion on this topic. I'm leaning towards the "It was real" camp after reading this and other things lately. The writers of this are based and know about the Kazar Darwinian cover up of true history.

There is substantial evidence for an advanced pre Flood (pre comet hitting the arctic 13,000 years ago) civilization.
At the least they had substantially greater stone working skills and tools than we have now. There are things built that we could probably accomplish today, but it would take massive investments and ingenuity beyond the skills and tools we currently employ. It may very well go far beyond just masonry though. Without a much more honest investigation, there's really no way to know. It has all been hidden on purpose.
What exactly "Atlantis" is, I don't know. There are a lot of theories about that. Whether or not it was named "Atlantis" or was named something else, and Plato et al named it "Atlantis" because it was in the Atlantic, I don't know. It could be that America is "Atlantis" (or Ireland, or something else entirely).
That we are not the first advanced civilization on this planet has substantial evidence however. There was a previous "Reset" (possibly several). There are a thousand pieces of evidence that can't be explained any other way.
Not a comet...solar micro-nova...like clockwork every 12,068 years. Fortunately for us the next one isn't until 2046.
IIRC, Plato had writings about how he had visited Atlantis, and the depiction is consistent with the video in the thread about the 'eye' in the Sahara.
I would love to know about that ancient history in some factual provable way. Instead, the best that can be done is to piece together pieces of a puzzle that's 10's of thousands of years old and missing more pieces than we have.
I had a theory about this that Atlantis was more like the 'capital' of Eden, when you look to the Asian side, their myths point to a similarly lost civilization, Lemuria.
The range of potential explanations could be from like you mention, previous resets after humanity had achieved a high tech level. In the ancient texts, like the Mahabharata (sp?) suggests that it may have ended in a war that nearly destroyed the planet (in the text is a depiction that, in modern viewpoint, would sound like rocketry, guided missiles, planes, and even one depiction of what sounds like a nuclear bomb of some sort that required the people exposed to wash themselves in the river before their skin burned).
Point being, Atlantis may only be a part of that story, or one 'faction' in a war that has been giong on far longer than we could imagine.
so did Plato and the ancient Egyptians...

Jimmy rocks, this is the best theory of Atlantis i've seen.
That did sound pretty convincing.
Whoa. Herodotus' map that he shows four minutes in shows the Nile pulling a 90 degree turn and running east/west through the Sahara. That's the first time I've ever seen that, and now I need to know how that was possible (not doubting it, just intrigued).
The Atlantic Ocean is like, named after Atlantis.
There's so much rebuffed history. We all basically have a Dr pepper sponsored history with corporate hands over everything.
Freemasons are slaves to the cause of covering up old building origins. Hence the bastards name free+Mason, they are neither.
Generally these things aren't "myths." They're more likely to be a reality that is presented out of context. Think human nature - people don't just keep a myth going over hundreds of years without some sort of influence to do so or belief that the myth is a reality.
It was probably real and was probably different than what we think of it as being. Just as a lot of the mythology of the past was probably based off reality, but details were incorrect (fallen angels vs god's, etc.)
Much of ancient history that weren't told doesn't add up. The Sphinx is a great example. With out even going into the weathering of it, look at how precise the Egyptians were in their buildings. Everything is exact. Now check out the side profile of the Sphinx and it's completely out of proportion. No civilization that had as high of engineering technology as the Egyptians would have made that from new. It was obviously a lion as some point and "recycled" to a monument to a pharaoh.
It goes so much deeper than that.
On the weathering, my wife's dad is a geologist, so I did the same trick I saw in a documentary where I asked him if he could tell what kind of erosion it was. He said that it was wind making the horizontal lines in different densities of rock, and the vertical was clearly water draining along the wall. When I revealed it as the sphinx, he went blank and asked "what does that mean?" I mentioned that the timeframe for that much water is at least 10k years ago range. He didn't want to believe that was possible and so the topic changed.
Yes, the proportions of the head is significant, and even that it was in the shape of a lion. With the rest of the Giza structures in strong stellar alignment, that implies a connection to Leo, which also lines up with the 10-12k year range (or extended out precessions longer). Where by the Egyptologist timeline, would have had the Egyptians build the Sphinx in the shape of a bull.
It really is a fascinating rabbit hole.
It isn't even a myth, Atlantis is only mentioned by Plato, it is used as a plot device in some stories he wrote, to teach philosophy and morals, (Atlantis being an amoral place). Literally no one else wrote about Atlantis. So no I don't think it's real
That's an interesting take.
Atlantis is the widely known one, Mu was the other lost civilization, that one was supposed to be somewhere near Japan.
They found a place in the northwest desert of Africa that fits the description of Atlantis, if the sea levels were higher. Can be seen on google earth I belive.
Wonder if that's where the Santa Claus story actually originated from 🤔 white bearded man comes from the farthest point north(or south!) to bring gifts and stories for people. Definitely fascinating and I'm gonna take a look at it fren!
Kek don't we all at this point 🤣 edit: truthfully the true history of the world is super fascinating. Seems like things that we were taught to be nothing but Hocus pocus story time is actually more true than we thought! What a time to be alive for average history enjoyers!
