I moved to a new state a year ago, and I'm looking for a family doctor. I'm middle-aged and in decent health, but I just want a checkup and bloodwork at some point soon because of issues I've had in the past. And I've been avoiding the doctor since the coof began and the vaxxines started getting pushed. The problem is that every single family clinic in my area, and I mean all of them, are run by the university systems of my state. This tells me that they will definitely be pushing the vaccine at every office. I have no idea where to go. It's extremely frustrating that I can't find just a private family doctor who isn't attached to the big medical system.
And I don't need twenty people telling me to go carnivore or keto or take a hundred supplements every day to avoid the doctor. Sometimes you do need to get yourself a checkup, especially as you get older, and if you are a woman, then there is a whole other set of issues you have to consider. Thank you for any advice or if you just want to commiserate. And, yes, I posted about this same problem last year when I broke a bone and went without treatment. We've entered a time when neglecting your health is the norm because doctors can no longer be trusted, all according to plan.
If all the family clinics in your area are corporate spin-offs, then look into telemedicine. The remaining independent doctors (and there aren't many of them any longer) adopted telemedicine as a way to continue their practice during the shutdowns. If you do a bit of searching, you may find one covered by your insurance and can order labs if necessary remotely.
The other option is there are specialists who will cross specialties because they recognize the issues you raise. An example is an endocrinologist I see, who has been trying to diagnose some funky blood labs for a while. He will order tests I request unrelated to his specialty, or even prescribe Rx for conditions outside those he treats.
I would agree with this, a telehealth Dr that can order bloodwork and check for things in your age range, hormones and other stuff. Then they can interpret the data to you on the next visit.
If not might as well be 100% sure the systems in your area haven't changed policy and don't require vax for treatment, it sounds like a violation in itself but I know how covid gave free reign to the health systems. Best of luck OP
Until you find a doctor, you can get lab tests without seeing a doctor. Quest, Labcorp, LabsDirect, etc. have standard lab orders you can request. If something comes back high/low, then find a telemed doc to consult with to see if you need further help.
I miss the days when all we had to look for was a doctor who liked their patients and wanted what's best for them. Now we have to dodge vaxx and drug pushers.
Find a naturopathic Dr. in your new area. They are not controlled by big pharma or big medical organizations.
Do a search to see if there are any functional medicine doctors in your community (even if they are an hour or two away -- some things can be done over the phone or zoom). A functional medicine doctor is an MD, but one that focuses on the source of various issues and will try to use natural supplements before grabbing the prescription pad. Most of them will not recommend the vaxx (for various reasons, but they know). So try that. Other than that, I don't know what to recommend except possibly an osteopath or naturopath. I empathize. Good luck.
I recently moved to a new town and had to find a new service provider. I kept asking my new conservative neighbors who they would recommend and went there. Yes, I was ask if I the (not a vax) vaccine and i said no. When ask why I told the new doc that I don't trust the vax cause it's been forced down our throats by politics, policy and big pharma profit. I said I will never trust it nor will I ever get it. The new doc looked at me a then proceeded to say ok. Never to bring up the subject again. I think some doctors are willing to go against the system for their patients.
Mexico. Cheaper, simpler. My spouse and I skip the annuals because we can control our own type 1 diabetes and cancer screenings. Labs are cheap and if we want to see an endocrinologist, ophthalmologist or nephrologist it's just $35.
You broke a bone and went without treatment? You're doing the exact opposite of what you should be doing. Use our medical systems for sports and job related injuries (broken/fractured/crushed bones, torn ligaments, cuts that require stitches, frostbite, gunshot wounds, etc.). Stay away from it for general quality of life care. Cabal wants you alive for your prime working years and dead ASAP after that.
What do you anticipate a doctor would tell you to do if you go in? Put you on blood thinners? Anti-depressants? Sleeping pills? Book time at a yoga studio or gym or go hiking instead.
If you insist on wasting time on a doctor, or are just dying to get a colonoscopy, try to find the one the local politicians and corporate bigwigs are using. Maybe around the state capitol, tech hubs, or white flight suburbs. Don't get your medical care near any provider where the cabal is trying to cut the population down. I'd search for "direct primary care".
You can order your own bloodwork on the internet and have it done at Walgreens FYI.
Go keto. Take a bunch of supplements.
Really, what the fuck do you want? System doctors will push vaccines and polypharmacy. Independent doctors/practitioners exist. New clinics are popping up everywhere after the mass firings for refusing the vax.
Unless you tell us roughly where you live, all you will get will be generic answers, just like the last fucking time. Anonymity is good, but a general region in a state won’t dox you. FFS. Oh, and TOGTFO!
I thought it was obvious, but I was mostly making the post to complain about the system being the way it is right now. And I did get some helpful comments out of it, just not yours.
You seem pretty emotional. Maybe your doctor can give you something for PMS.
Why not go somewhere else to attention whore? I am more than willing to attempt to help those who truly need and are smart enough to ask the right questions.
Most of the doctors stopped pushing the vax months ago, even the big systems.
