We are in south Flagstaff and it has been so incredibly windy for the past day and a half. Not just gusts but pretty much Non-Stop 25 mph winds. I feel like I'm in the hunger games dome where they are controlling the weather.
If the job is downtown or west like Milton area and if on 89, then not out past Townsend-Winona, you won't have any trouble but if you have to stay over it would be best to reserve a room like right now. Places are filling up fast with evacuees. Safe travels, fren
Flagstaff resident. Has to be the windiest Spring that I can remember. It just never stops!! Friends evacuated. Timberline and Doney Park just can’t catch a break after the Tunnel Fire. Even after this fire is put out, the monsoons will cause havoc. A long road to recovery. Houses can be replaced. People must leave and be safe. Sadly, the Peaks will never recover in our lifetime. Prayers to your family!
Sad for you. I went through there three weeks ago and all along I-17 and I-40 it was obviously too dry, too many dead trees, a disaster ready to happen. It's too dry all the way to Santa Fe.

Yes. Seems AZ is having higher than usual fire activity. I expect a higher number of fires across the country this year.

Imho, the DS is burning out places that “they” want to live (to drive out the useless eaters) and buy surrounding acreage.

Pray for protection against evil, make sure to say the Lord's Prayer and Jesus Prayer several times a day, and believe with everything in your heart that your faith can move mountains. Speak what you want in to existence and pray for God for help.
The evac borderline was 4 blocks from my son's house; today they let those folks go back home. So things seem to be more stable though they say the Doney Park area is still at risk.

It doesn't take much when there is so much tinder. In NM the forest service did a controlled burn and lost control, did a lot of damage.

Run the sprinklers non stop, itll create a damp cloud and slow the advance, hard to explain over text, the wet humidity can help
