Can’t remember the Q Post number with the graphic showing it was always Republicans that pushed Civil Rights legislation to passage.
The Great Society was Democratic Party revenge for passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. They did not want it, old Robert Byrd led a filibuster to block it.
So what did the Dems do? They cleverly packaged another bill to cripple black communities. They acted like they were going to address poverty in those communities when the real aim was to institutionalize it there. And, no surprise, the Great Society was a way to launder money. Can anyone find the $22 trillion supposedly spent on the War on Poverty?
No wonder they give their bills all these focus group tested names fully knowing nobody that ever votes for democrats will ever read a single word of them. Hell I doubt even the democrat legislators read them. Lots of democrats in the Republican Party these days as well
Yes. I think one of the greatest sins imposed and perpetuated upon the black community is generational welfare. CT quoted his dad surmising about how to help without making people a ward of the state. These people will never know the gifts that God has bestowed upon them, never know what they're capable of and never know the feeling of a good days work. That is truly a sin.
The White ones aren't doing all that great right now either.
Socialism makes everybody equally poor.
Except Nancy Pelosi.
