Circumcision was not unique it was done in other cultures before Abraham. Abraham understood at that time the meaning and traditions already established.
Circumcision was a visible, continuous reminder of a covenant.
Just as God asked for circumcision, he made a covenant through cutting and burning an animal and passing between the pieces. People would do this, the one who passes through is the one making the obligation and promis. God used the cultural and familiar traditions to establish his people in a way they could understand.
God passed through the animal and prevented Abraham from passing through. God knows that man is fallible and broken. We cannot keep promises forever. But God will. Hence God was the only one making the obligation.
So to answer your question, God asking me to do something known in my culture as a clear sign and daily reminder, of a covenant - even if that happened to be Circumcision, (or even if it meant scarring my face), I wouldn't consider it weird. In fact I couldn't consider it weird since it would already be a familiar practice in my culture. Which is why God used it.
Ok so your defense of circumcision is that it wasn't God's idea, he was just being practical and using something already in the culture. But if they were already doing it for some other reason, then how would it be reminder of a covenant? It would just be a thing they were already doing. Also, how is it highly visible unless people are walking around naked?
Personally I find it to be a disgusting practice regardless of who is doing it for how long or why. The Earth gave us wondrous bodies that can bring us much joy. We should cherish and respect our bodies.
lol. How could you go ever see your pecker and NOT be reminded of why that was done?
God does not ask us to do something we cannot or do not know how to do. His yolk is light. God does not explain to us things that we cant make some sense of. Else we would never have any understanding. Just as we explain to young children in simplified ways or show them things that are simpler to do, God does the same for us.
It is highly visible to yourself and those that see you naked.
Would I personally have chosen something else? sure. Is it effective as a reminder of the covenant? VERY.
I mean it's effective enough that even 2000+ years later people still remember it, and people who don't do this, still know about it and its reason.
I am laughing at your arguments because they are so weak that it's fun.
Using religion to deceive people how? How exactly am I deceiving people?
Most likely, you have such a weak argument and you cant really argue against my points to you attack me instead. It's a common tactic for the losing side or an argument.

Laughing at genital mutilation? You're a snake that uses religion to deceive people.
