This "Californian" (I hate every fucking thing about this state other than the weather and nature) will gladly take their spot and vote redder than half the damn state.
I can't choose where I was born, but I shure as shit can choose to leave this hell behind me, any lefty loons want a spot here I'll buy your house...house not apt, and at Texas prices, not overinflated ego fart-sniffing California prices.
All the vehemently pro-life states are on my list to move to, I've worked hard and saved enough to buy a reasonably priced house cash, by living far below my means I want to live somewhere where that work is appreciated.
Come on then... you aint no Californian. You're a prisoner.
Just dont come here to Austin, till the other Californians leave.
I'm looking into the smaller towns like Whitney, Brekenridge, mineral wells, maybe up to a mid-size city like waco. I'm done with the ultra-city life. At least for right now I live in San Diego, it could be worse.could've been LA.
So glad my oldest son moved home to Texas from LA right when all this covid horse shit was starting. My brother still lives out there though and it looks like he's stuck there because his wife will never leave her family. And he realizes he has to work until he's 124 just to afford retirement.
in LA you work cradle to grave so your grandkid can retire by 75
Haha, that's what I have been told also.
I feel ya, I'm from Colorado and although where I lived was a nice place to have a childhood... I live in rural Kansas now and you couldn't get me to move back if the rent was what my parents paid in the 90s
Loads of people I know have departed CA already. You cannot find Uhaul truck in CA. I love the beauty of Northern CA and the mountains too. The politicians are blood sucking ticks and corrupt.
