Prayers requested - Staying the night in the hospital with my son.
✝️ Prayer Request 🕊️
My middle son is a teen. He has been through so much in his short life. Stroke at birth causing cerebral palsy, rare epileptic conditiion cured by brain surgery many years ago.
And today blood sugar was through the roof. He somehow contracted diabetes, likely type 1. He is not overweight, he is pure blood.
He basically has ptsd from all the procedures and doctor visits. And now he may have to get insulin shots multiple times a day.
It hurts me so bad to watch him go through so much.
Please pray for him.
Thank you.
I am going to try and get some sleep now, will read through any comments in the morning.
Praying for both of you. Please look into alternative medicines, especially food and diet that can control blood sugar without resorting to insulin.
My mom got my dad off insulin just by getting him to change his diet and exercise (walking) twice a day.. The doctors said he would be on it for life.. The needed doses kept going lower and lower.. until the doctor was like, "Um.. it looks like he does not need insulin now."
She had him cut carbs.. eat veggies with dietary fiber.. low salt.. high protein.. eggs and chicken mostly..
It's too bad he had to have a stroke for her advice to finally work on him.. He lost 40lbs in 3 months (healthy weight now) and went from 7 medications down to 2..
That's wonderful. I know it works for those with type 2 diabetes, but never heard of it working for type 1. Is that what he was?
From what I’ve researched, type 1 canbe reversed however you’re on a timeline. The longer you have been on insulin the less likely you can get off. If you can start treating the cause and healing your body within the first few months I think there’s a much higher chance of eliminating even type 1
Well that would be wonderful, if true. I hope it is! Thanks.
Very happy to hear that, fren. Although I'm guessing your parents had Type 2 diabetes. It sounds like PL's boy might have Type 1 and unfortunately there's not typically a path to resolve that problem via diet.
Praying for them both and for your parents to stay healthy.
T1 is usually caused by a trigger that causes the body's immune system to attack the pancreas, decreasing its ability to produce insulin. As an auto-immune condition, remission is always possible but rare. I would investigate those substances known to cause remission, such as Hydroxychloroquine.

Keto under supervision to start.
Type 1 is different than type 2. If you have type 1 insulin is required. Your body doesnt make insulin at all. In type 2 insulin is produced but the body doesnt use it well. A type 1 has to cover their meals. To not do this isnt an option. These days a lot of Type 1s have insulin pumps that do this automatically.
T1 is from birth. T2 is adult onset.
Thanks for this info
Berberine - a miracle supplement.
Agreed- modern medicine is too often more damaging than healing while natural medicines do much better, can attest from personal experiences.
I have had multiple times where I had surgeries scheduled and then took natural rememdies, and had to cancel the surgeries.
