My wife, that was in the hospital, last week with sepsis, now requires outpatient surgery to clean the wound. The hospital is demanding the test, for surgery. (When they said that they couldn't require it for admission, last week. ) Time to find an attorney.

God bless. Please let us know how it pans out. I hope your wife is back to feeling in no time.
Ask them what kind of test, after all the swab test they were using was banned by CDC because of 97% false positives and cant show covid. THEN I'd say you will be hearing from my attorney. To make it look good ask to see current license of the MD/RN who told you that.
Midwestern Doctor pointed out that the facility where he/she worked, the patients were given antibody tests which had the higher false positive rate and ergo more likely to be admitted and ergo revenue. The staff were given antigen tests; they were much more reliable and basically they didn't want the staff to take time off for CV because they were shorthanded. I would ask if it is a antibody or antigen to see what they say. Or even if they know there is a difference.
See the subtle in the essay about reducing infectious doses:

Tell them you want a "rapid" test, where they just swab the end of your nostrils. Or a saliva test. Those are non-invasive.
No way I would take the brain-scraping swab test.
i wont even trust the rapid test qtip in my nose.. i just sneeze in a napkin and swab it that way.. easy peasy. btw be very careful with the test liquid, it's highly toxic i mean highly highly toxic.
Hospital my husband is in needed a covid test to be admitted for a stroke.
Praying for you guys.
Your name reminds me of this https://youtu.be/LNRBhq2oV8k
Skip the intro, some great remixes were done.
This is my favorite mix right now. 10/10 https://youtu.be/5zqsB95ke2w
I saw LTJ perform this set back in '99, still one of the best mixes ever made IMO.

Oh, I’m sure we’d get along just fine! That’s going in my “goto folder” - I saw the planet of the drums tour, AK 1200, Dieselboy and Dara when they came through Hawaii about 2001 - was sick as fuck
Yeah man, I'm so glad I was there for the golden age of dnb. POTD was my most anticipated show every year. "Live @ Proper 2000" is still one of the best mixes I've ever heard. It's a perfect snapshot of the scene as it came in to the 2000s.

Dunno why the link starts at 16:00?
If you can find me a straight copy of this I owe you greatly.

Good to see discogs is still around lol thanks!
if all else fails, buy the stupid test at a drug store. Sneeze in a hanker chief and swab it with the stupid qtip.. done. Throw it in their face and be done with it.
Who would accept that...
Well that's why you throw it. Most peoples reflexes will immediately catch it. Easy. haha
you should threaten to sue them for giving her sepsis...add that to the negotiation
Just had surgery Saturday morning and again yesterday. Had to do a rapid test which the medical assistant ASKED if I wanted to blow onto a napkin then swabbed that. I told in no uncertain terms was I doing a sinus swab and they laughed that nobody does it that way anymore— the local hospital emergency never asked at all. BTW…kidney stones suck.
Tell them to fuck off.
Fight hard, this is discrimination.
I couldn’t go in to visit my son after surgery because I wasn’t vaxxed
I'm so paranoid I'm concerned I'd be jabbed while unconscious on the cutting table.
Hey keep us updated on your wife, would you? Prayers 🙏🏻
Buy a fake card,so she can get the surgery quick.
Or make one. I research this quite a bit last fall, borrow a friend's card copy it and photoshop it.
Am in PA this is a thing here too. It seems standard. No test for normal appointments but a surgery you are required .
Hope this works out for your dear wife. Prayers sent.
Prayers for you and your wife, fren. You're fighting the good fight and we're all behind you, whatever you decide to do.
