What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
It looks like a good day to me. Does it look like a good day to Anons? Are you happy with how things are going, Anon?
Lets all pray that the Plan continues to go on without a hitch, and we get the EPA ruling that dismantles the unconstitutional overreach of the Congress thats been going on for decades, and hopefully be the end of all 3 letter agencies.
So there's a couple different bigger grocery store chains in my area, Giant and Safeway. I prefer Giant typically but go to Safeway on occasion. I went yesterday to get eggs after getting them there the other day seeing they had 18 packs of XL eggs that I hadn't seen before at Giant.
So of course they didn't have them this time, but they did have 12 packs of XL eggs on clearance for expiring soon, 7/1. I have never ever seen eggs on clearance. I only grabbed two, but they had a number of them.
While Giant on the other hand, I like their meat better, always has some excellent cuts of beef on clearance. I pretty much eat chicken weekdays and find some clearance beef for weekends.
I can see beef not selling as much with all the inflation, but I'm still a little perplexed about the eggs lol.
That is very odd. Are people eating less? Eggs are nutritious and versatile. Even with price increases they are still good value relative to many other foods.
Yeah I don't know. Seeing eggs on discount really threw me for a loop. I've seen the shelves devoid of any and all eggs in recent times and slim pickings, but never on clearance.
Meat as well, like say last year, or even a few months ago, typically I'd see like cube steak or beef stew chunks on clearance, but now seeing much better cuts cheaper than pre-inflation.
Back to eggs though, only point of contamination I guess would be whatever goes into the chicken and come individually prepackaged. Where meats go through God knows what during FDA regulated processing.
Yeah but factor in all the chickens killed because "avian flu" and all that. You'd think supply would drive up price. Really strange stuff.
Same with meat processing plants, too. Granted, it's a fraction of total plants.
I like eggs.
Nice
