"As someday it may happen that a victim must be found, I've got a little list, I've got a little list of society offenders who may well be underground, and who never would be missed"
I've searched for a lot of G&S stuff on the yousetube over the years, and these are, in my opinion, the best I could find. If you're a serious G&S fan, worth purchasing if you can.
The Opera World version with the London Symphony tends to be my go to (The one they used to show on PBS)
I love that version of the Mikado.
Did you know that Groucho Marx played Koko once in The Mikado? I wasn't thrilled with some of his liberties on the songs, but I just found the performance was released on DVD!

It's a must watch!
Nice job! I love Gilbert and Sullivan.

You win good sir!
Note: Australian Opera have done some of the best G&S versions in modern times. Really high level.
Are you talking about these?

Wow. Yeah. I managed to get one or two or three of those on the individual dvds from the local library (here in AUS) and ripped them.
The production is really, really slick, the modernization element very well done, creative costuming, and very well performed.
You can find snippets of these on youtube. Here's a very low-quality rip of the Mikado. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XIwxk1ETcI&list=PLYLgjdWZPfnpEYcD6IsNKlkW0HVVDyHCv

I will check those out!
